Finger Paints new spring 2011 collection is called Palette of Petals and it looks like a bright creme filled collection.

The names are a little…odd and some don’t make sense to me, but there you have it. icon smile Finger Paints Palette of Petals Spring 2011 Collection Promo Pics

  • The Dahlia one looks like a fun spring color. The others….I probably have similar enough shades that they don’t give me the shivers. But heck, at this point anything that isn’t white, gray, or the color of dirty snow poopcicles in my wheel wells looks pretty awesome to me.

I really like the turquoise and the green. But I’m sure I have dupes. I’ve never tried fingerpaints before though, which is odd since I’m in Sally’s like every other day. I might just pick up one or two for the little flowers on the bottles.

The names all have spring/summer flowers in them…

    January 28, 2011
    • Hi Rikki,

Yes they do, it’s a flower collection :)

To me, blues (especially turquoise) look like they’re going to be a popular polish color for spring. Except for the hydrangea, the colors don’t really remind me of the flowers in the polish names… oh well, maybe that’s not what they were going for!

  • the flower things on the bottles are just so freakin cute.. i dont even own any finger paint polishes but i think i might to buy my 1st one now! i like the orange one the best i think :)

  • I don’t know. Hasn’t every creme that there is to be done BEEN done?
Maybe like to see a swatch of Dahlia and that’s about all…

I don’t know if any of these colors are must haves for me. I do like the glad-ilious color.

    I like ‘em all!

How are finger paints? I have never tried them but the colors usually look nice. I think I might buy one or two just for the cute bottle :-)

    January 28, 2011
    • Hi melissa,

They have great stuff actually. Their polishes are usually very easy to apply and opaque.

  • They look really pretty! Perfect for spring I think :) It might just be because it’s so cold and gross here, but I’m loving pretty spring-like colours lately!

I love the little flower rings on the bottle – so cute. I’d like to see Carnation Creation – looks to be a pretty teal. Thanks.

  • The blue one reminds me of CG Aqua Baby

I would like to see Glad-ioulus up close and personal. It almost has a tinge of periwinkle/lilac to it in the full body shot.

I’m kinda digging the spring stuff this year- it seems everyone, Finger Paints included, has gone with a more saturated color this time around. Last year, almost every spring pastel had a super white base, which looks sooooo bad on pale skin…
(good for March, April, and May the southern hemisphere, though…)

I think I’m way more excited about this collection than I am about either the OPI or China Glaze collections! I think they’re all beautiful, but I especially love Carnation Creation and Dahlia My Number. Do we know when this is available?

They all look like pretty colors, but nothing we haven’t seen before. If there are any that I don’t have a dupe for in my collection, I’d probably grab ‘em up. Pretty sure I have most of these colors already though (or at least something very similar), I’ll wait for swatches ;-)

I typically wear very dark polishes but a couple of these looked a little appealing (hydrangea and chrysanthemum).

Like another poster mentioned, last Springs colors seemed so much more pastel. I hope this Spring is different!

  • For some reason the little black dots (I guess it’s a bubble) on each of the swatches freaks me out. Couldn’t they get better pictures? Oh well. I do love the rings! I’ll probably buy one just for a ring.

  • I’m not a big creme lover at all. I can take it in very, very small doses. However, I think I can deal with these. For some reason, can’t say just why, but I find them precious. We’ll see what I do when I can find them at Sally’s.

They’re cute. The gladiola name made me laugh. That always reminds me of Morrissey.

  • I actually like these alot, but they don’t look terribly original. But I still love them because my collection isn’t huge and I don’t really have many similar colors like these. :x
I’ll have to pick some up, the bottles are ADORABLE.

  • Chrysanthe-mum’s the Word and Aren’t You Glad-iolous? seem nice ! It’s a cute collection I think even if it is not really particular.

    I love the flower-themed names.

I won’t be getting the green because I have who the shrek are you, and they look very similar. I love the rest of the colors. My over all collection of nail polishes is getting out of control with all these new colors coming out! ;)
