Benefit Sephora Exclusive Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Tidal Rave and Purple Snap

Extra, extra read all about it! Sephora has four exclusive Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liners out right now, and if you like options in a product, you may like these.

What are these complicated sounding items you say? Simply put, they are uber soft, pliable, colorful creams that come in a nice little glass pot. You can use them as either eyeshadow or eyeliner (like a gel).

What I love about these is that you can use just one thin layer on your lids for more of a subtle wash of color, but you can also add a layer or two to pump up the color for a deeper look. They are pretty versatile.

And true to the name (at least over an eyeshadow base) they are creaseless for a solid 12+ hours.

The new exclusive to Sephora colors are (FYI they call Tidal Rave Tidal Wave mistakenly on Sephora’s website)

Tidal Rave is a really amazing color and the first one my eyes landed on when looking at them in the store. The color is a gorgeous greyed out green teal with gold shimmer. It’s pretty saturated with just one swipe and builds up to a slightly deeper shade if you apply more.

Purple Snap is a medium violet that looks amazing on the hand, but doesn’t quite translate the same on the eyelid. It is a little more sheer than Tidal Rave; I needed a few swipes of color to get this saturation. I wore it yesterday as an eyeshadow and found it looks pretty subtle and not as vivid as it did on my hand. This may or may not be a good thing for you. I was hoping for a little more “va va va VOOM”, but got more of a “professional” wash of a purple color.

Overall:

You can’t really go wrong with the formula of the Creaseless Creams because the quality and feel of them is really nice. As far as color choices, its up to what you are looking for. Tidal Rave was an absolute must have for me and I like Purple Snap, but wish it was brighter. I almost grabbed Silver Spoon also, but decided to pass it up since I didn’t *need* any more colors. icon smile Benefit Sephora Exclusive Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Tidal Rave and Purple Snap

    Hello,
I actually did pick up these exact two colors from Sephora not too long ago. I absolutely love them!

They do look very nice. Tidal Wave is the one I would go for first.

As soon as I saw the colors you chose I said out loud ‘ooh, pretty’, I’m sure my dogs think I’m nuts talking to the computer. I love Tidal Rave, may have to grab that up even though I just received my final (way too big) Aromaleigh order and have more shadows and sparkle than I could ever possibly use. You can never have too much makeup, right?

I actually ordered the Icy Shot & Silver Spoon and had the Tidal Rave in my cart, but removed it. It’s soooo pretty, though! I’m sure it looks stunning on you!

I love these! I have Skinny Jeans, Birthday Suit, RSVP and since I also have the plum one (forgot the name), I will pass on Purple Snap (for now). I will def pick up the Tidal Rave, especially because it looks like it could match the lovely Chanel Black Pearl on my fingertips!

  • Everytime I try a cream eyeshadow, no matter how much I prime, they always crease quickly!
