BB Couture Wild West Collection For Women Swatches & Review
Hee haw, here we go with the “womens” side of BB Couture’s Wild West collection.
As with the mens side, these are all new and really fun, mostly unique colors. There are a couple in here that are very spring-esque and some that reminds me more of fall. I love the light to dark range here.
The formula for these was the same as the mens, really good with not any issues per se! These were all two coats.
Belle Starr
Belle Starr is a medium purple (heavy on the blue) with very fine blue and pink shimmer. Upon first glance I thought it was just a purple creme, but then I saw the shimmer. I love this color on fair skin, it looks amazing, and the shimmer just makes it look even cooler.
Wrangler
Wrangler is a medium metallic blue with heavy frosty looking silver shimmer. Because of the frosted look of this it’s my least favorite one here, but it’s still a good color. I am just not a fan of that kind of finish. No streakiness though, which is a bonus.
Laced Corset
Laced Corset is a royal purple metallic with multi-colored shimmer. This is a really nice one, love the color and it’s so shiny!
Saloon Girl
Saloon Girl is a bright poppy pink with pink shimmer. Holy hell, I would never expect that a pink would be in my top two of a six piece collection like this, but it is! There is something so alluring about this pink. It’s rich and saturated, and so shimmery and shiny. Also again, perfect for my skintone, but would probably work really well on a lot of different ones. Gorgeous!
Frontier Woman
Frontier Woman is a billiard table green with fine blue shimmer. It’s kind of a dusky green yet also still a little bright. Does that make sense? I was not sold at all on this until the second coat and especially after I saw my pictures of it. Love it now!
Pistol Packin’ Mama
Pistol Packin’ Mama is a very dark chocolate brown base with bronze shimmer. I wasn’t really sure what color this would turn out to be until I applied it and looked at it in the light. It’s really dark, but under lighting it’s gorgeous. LOVE me some brown!
Overall:
Usually I can clearly pick if I like the mens or womens collections better, but this time it’s a toss up. There are some from each collection that are just must haves, some that are extremely nice and some I could pass up on. The must haves for me here are Belle Starr, Saloon Girl, Frontier Woman and Pistol Packin’ Mama.

I love the colors of these. But am I the only one who finds the blue caps distracting? I can’t focus on how amazing a color is without noticing how in your face the blue cap is!

I actually love the caps for one reason. When I am looking through my stash for a BB color, they totally stand out and I can find them way faster than any other brand
Pistol Packin’ Mama & Laced Corset are my must-haves from this collection. Gorgeous swatches, as always, VV!
I agree with Rachel about the caps; they’re distracting/clashy. Love the purples and that brown!
Frontier and Mama! The blue caps are useful when you’re searching though. Easy to find. I want them all. Every polish they have ever done. I want it.

Frontier Woman looks kinda similar to Zoya Gemma from the upcoming Intimate Collection. A darker less muted green, but the similarities are still there.

Frontier Woman is a completely different color of green, it’s really not like Gemma at all. The shimmer is totally different also. Gemma is a duochrome with blue/purple/pink, this is just straight-up shimmer, no duochrome effect.
Belle Star, Laced Corset and Frontier woman have to be my faves but these are all fierce and beautiful!

These are gorgeous colors but I definitely love Saloon Girl what a bright pinkish-red! Love, love it.
I like Belle Starr! Both collections have some nice colors, but the smaler bottle for the men is just lame.

Belle Star is amazing! I think I like more colours from the mens collection though.
Love all of them but will likely pass on the frosty blue, one of those in your polish collection is enough, and I’m sure I have one. What a fantastic collection, both the ‘For Men’ and ‘For Women’ collections have great colors. I love BB! They always have unusual colors.
So pretty! I like the men’s collection a little more, but these are gorgeous, too.
I wonder how similar Pistol-Packin’ Mama is to CC Nothing but Truffle, though?

I actually like Wrangler; I don’t know what it is, I generally don’t like finishes like that.

I really like both sides, mens & womens, of this collection. Not happy about the price increase though. You’d need to order 6 bottles to get free shipping from Overall Beauty. Kind of bummed about that. Oh well…I’ve enough untrieds to keep me busy. Thanks for the swatches!
