If you celebrate Christmas, do you have a tree up yet? We celebrate Christmas, not in a religious sense, but as a winter festival with food, presents, good friends and family. I think those are universals, no matter whether you are Christian or not.
Boots: Do you like them ankle, mid-calf, knee or thigh high? All of the above!
What is your favorite lotion to combat dry, itchy skin? Vaseline Cocoa Butter is still pretty good and inexpensive.
Are you a Chicago style (thick, stuffed crust) or New York style (thin, fold-able) pizza lover? I like both, but slight preference for New York.
If you could go back to ANY period in time right this minute for 24 hours, where would you go? Tough one. I would go back to the 1950s meet Rosalind Franklin and tell her she was left out of the discovery of DNA. Watson and Crick get all of the credit. I did a biology project on her work, and she was a really great researcher.
What book are you reading? the Lost Dinosaurs of Egypt. A fun read alternating science and stories

If I want scent, Villainess. If I’m just going for moisture (that works really well), St. Ives Oatmeal and Shea. I hear the Vitamin E one is good, too. Also, Johnson & Johnson baby lotion works pretty nicely.

Neither — I like St. Louis style, which is basically a cracker with a ton of toppings.

I don’t wear them, but I like them mid-calf. I’d like an ankle pair that looks like cowboy boots, to wear with jeans. If they go on sale at Target, I might get them!

I just keep slathering on Vaseline lotion all day. I work with kids, so I wash my hands a LOT.

We’re going to see a huge light display tonight, and tomorrow we’re taking our son to the Bass Pro Shop to see the decorations and see Santa. Sunday is church, and my church choir, in which I’m a first alto, has an afternoon practice for our Festival of Lessons and Carols, which is next Sunday night. Busy weekend!

* What is your favorite lotion to combat dry, itchy skin? Well I always use bath and body works and thats enough for me. But I do live in Miami where there is always humidity. When it happens to be nice and dry out i switch over to the cream rather than the lotion and I apply immediately after i shower. =)

Urban Decay Love Light (just got the Sephora OPI 18-piece set last night, so I am excited to try them all out this weekend! haha).

Yes. We got from our local grocery store for $20. We figure we’re only going to use it in our apartment, and we’ll get rid of it at the end of the season, since we’ll be moving into a house by next Christmas. It came pre-lit, but half the string didn’t work, so we physically had to put lights on it, haha.

Almost all of mine are ankle, but I’ve really been into mid-calf recently (hopefully getting a pair soon).
What is your favorite lotion to combat dry, itchy skin?
I usually only have problems with dry skin on my hands, and I really like Caudalie’s hand and nail cream, or any of the body butters by Bliss. I’ve heard Aquaphor (by Eucerin) is supposed to be amazing for really dry skin (and they don’t test on animals!)

I prefer New York-style, but not too too thin. I get cravings for Chicago-style every so often.

**How was your week? Brilliant – spent most of it on holiday in a little stone cottage in Cornwall with a roaring log fire and a good book!

**What is your favorite lotion to combat dry, itchy skin? I swear by Decleor Systeme Corps – worth every penny. My tip would be to dry body brush every morning for a couple of minutes followed by a natural or organic shower gel (much less drying – try Liz Earle, Ren, Korres etc), follow with a good, also natural, mineral oil free body lotion like Decleor, Molton Brown and see the diffrence in a couple of weeks. I know, I know – these brands can be more expensive but we only get one skin and if you look after it in your 20s and 30s it will last much better and look less wrinkled in your 40s onwards

I actually have oily skin, but my hands get dry in the winter from all the washing, I use Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Smoothing Lotion mostly, but I have about 20 different lotions all over the house to use whenever I think to grab one.

Either, depends on what I’m in the mood for. Actually, when I’m in Chicago (going in 2 weeks!), I usually get the thinner crust there as well, but they cut the pizza into small squares instead of the usual triangular slices. I love Chicago pizza!
