Tarte Ring It In Cheek Stain Set

Tarte Cheek Tarte Ring It In Cheek Stain Set

Ridiculously cute product alert! Tarte’s Ring It In Cheek Stain Set is a great new holiday offer now at Sephora.

This little set includes three different colored cheek sheens in nice little twist-up containers.Oh it also comes with a pretty cool one-size-fits-all (stretchy-band) gold knot cocktail ring. icon smile Tarte Ring It In Cheek Stain Set

These little stains include something called t5, which is an infused botanical formula that is supposed to help pigment colors stay more true and blend into your skin easier.

Flawless, Vivid, Luster

  • Flawless is a sheer peach/pink
  • Vivid is a bright medium pink
  • Luster is a medium peach

All three of these colors applied quite smoothly and easily. The sheerest one was definitely Flawless, which is pretty sheer for my tastes. Vivid and Luster were really nice though and more colorful.

The downside of these is that they did feel slightly sticky on my face. Not that I touch my face all day long, but I could feel “something” there that I didn’t really love the feeling of. The color did last a solid 10 hours though without having to touch it up, so that’s good.

I also like that these are small enough to pop into your bag without taking up much space or weighing a lot.

Overall:

I like this set a lot and have been really getting into these cheek stains lately. The ring is an added bonus. I would recommend these if you are looking for something that is easy to apply, and with more natural colors.

  • Way more sheer than I anticipated… I haven’t tried Tarte yet. Guess I’m waiting on *the* product. ;)

  • I really wanted this during the 40% F&F at tarte, but they were sold out :(
Have you tried the hard candy Hide and Go Cheek blushes? This kinda sounds like how they feel.

I HATE the hard candy blush stain sticks. they are sooo sheer and sticky. i could feel the layer on my face and it felt oitly. dont get them. they are cheap ^6, but i returned mine at walmart. i love the other hard candy products like the mineralized blushes/msf/bronzers and nailpolishs though. i still want to try the tarte ones .

I’d like to try these but I have large pores. I find that they build up in them. I also wouldn’t like that you could “feel” them on your face.
