Stila Backstage Eyeshadow Palette Swatches & Review
Are you looking for a really cool looking eyeshadow palette that features some incredibly pretty, saturated colors? Then Stila’s Backstage Eyeshadow Palette might need to make its way into your life.
Backstage comes in a pretty flower embossed purple palette and inside it contains six gorgeous colors inspired by this season’s brocade looks.
The shimmery colors inside are:
- Chiffon – pale apricot pink
- Flamingo – medium bright pink/purple
- Pacific – deep sea-blue
- Luster – deep brown/pink duochrome
- Poetic – light mauve
- Coal – dark peacock blue/green
Chiffon, Flamingo, Pacific, Luster, Poetic, Coal
The shadows in this palette feel very nice, soft and a few are extremely pigmented. You barely have to swipe a finger across Luster, Flamingo & Coal to get huge payoff. All the rest have really good color payoff as well; nothing too sheer here.
I was pleasantly surprised by Luster because looking at it I thought it was just going to be a nice brown/taupe. But noooo, it’s got a very obvious pink duochrome effect to it, which is amazing!
I love these colors together and think they would work well for a variety of looks from more mellow “day” looks to edgier “night” ones.

This is on sale right now on Stila’s website for $12.00. For the quality and killer colors you MUST get it! 
One caveat with the palette itself is that it’s heavy paper, so take care not to get it wet!

coal is a beautiful color, like peacock feathers or an oil slick and luster is rather different too!
I just tried purchasing this from Stila’s website a few days ago, and the rest of my order shipped but this did not, and they said it was out of stock. But when I just checked their site, it still shows as in stock. It’s disappointing, because it looks really cute!

Beautiful colours! I really like Coal, although the colour doesn’t remind me of coal. It looks like peacock feathers to me. Odd choice of name!
I love this little palette! I got it during Sephora’s F&F. The colors are very pigmented and it’s such a steal!

There colors are gorgeous. I would love the coal as a thin liner under the lower eye.

Have this. Love it. Chiffon and Poetic are my daily go-tos, with the rest of the colors used to spice things up before nights out. It’s the only shadow I brought with me on a 2 week vaca. LOVE this.
I have to say that your swatches make these colors appear so much more wearable than I would have thought. The picture of the palette had me thinking these would be way too dark, but they actually quite nice. See how helpful you are? You’re going to help me beat down that ‘safe, neutral’ version of me yet!
