MAC Peacocky Kissable Lipcolour Swatches & Review
MAC Peacocky for winter 2011 features fifteen new Mega Metal Shadows, but also twelve new Kissable Licolours.
Kissable Lipcolours are like a liquid lipstick. They are creamy and apply smooth like a lipstick, but they’re still shiny. They come in a long, thin tube with a doe-foot applicator.

- So Vain – Muted dirty coral
- Vanity Fair – Mid-tone blue pink
- Exxxhibitionist - Red-toned coral
- Strut Your Stuff – Bright true red
- Scandelicious – Blue Fuchsia
- Peacocky – Sky blue with red pearl
- Super – Muted neutral brown
- Temper Tantra – Mid-tone reddish brown
- Flaunting It – Grey mauve
- Love Peck – Blackened blood red

This one happens to be the perfect kind of pink for my skin tone. It’s extremely blue-based, which might not make it so great for everyone. It’s not quite as saturated as I expected, but actually in this case I think that’s ok because I like a lighter touch sometimes.

Woo Me
Woo Me is a great nude/pink color. I think this color would look fabulous on a huge variety of skin tones because it hits just the right note between warm and cool. It looks like it has some slight shimmer in the tube, but you don’t see it when it’s on the lip.

Temper Tantra
This color is a medium red/brown color, definitely on the warm side. Not a huge fan of this for me, but it would look great on darker skin tones I think. This was the only one of these that I tried that didn’t immediately settle into my lip lines, which is a bonus in my book.

Overall:
So far so good. I like the idea of a combo lipstick/lip gloss and think two of these colors are great on me. I am VERY interested to try some of the more “wild” colors though like Peacocky, Scandelicious and Flaunting It!
These will be available January 6th in North America and in February Internationally. They will retail for $18.00.

I have no idea since these were just sent to me yesterday and I only just swatched them.
Those shadow colors look awesome, I’m a huge fan of “Peacock” colors! The nude color looks like a color I would love as well.

Those swatches really show how pigmented the colours are. (Woo Me is my favorite of the ones you showed.) But whoa, what really got my attention were your eyes! Very pretty colour!

Temper tantra seems a lot like my cup of tea!
After seeing your swatch, I thought that Temper Tantra would be less sheer on the lip, but it’s perfect! Really great colors. I understand your thought that TT might be too warm for your skin tone, but I think it actually does look good on you.

Vanity Fair reminds me of a glossy Pink for Friday. I didn’t want the lipstick but that KL is a bit pretty. However, Woo Me and Temper Tantra speak to me sooo much more so I need to set aside my coins for this collection. Thanks for the swatches VV!
