Dashing Diva Fall 2010 Nail Color Swatches & Review – Part II

Good morning!

The second part of the fall 2010 Dashing Diva collection included a few colors I initially thought I wouldn’t like, but wound up being kind of nice.

Check them out.

Dashing Diva Tira Miss U Dashing Diva Fall 2010 Nail Color Swatches & Review Part II
Tira, Miss U

Tira, Miss U is an odd color. It’s a milky, greenish brown with fine gold shimmer. In the bottle it looked like a dull brown creme, but it turned out to be very different than I expected. I love the unusual color and was really happy to discover the shimmer. On the bad side, it’s a bit watery and uneven, so it definitely needs three thickish coats for total coverage. It reminds me a bit of Jessica Bittersweet, but a little darker and greener.

Dashing Diva Underground City Dashing Diva Fall 2010 Nail Color Swatches & Review Part II
Underground City

Underground City is a brick red with subtle pink shimmer. This was another one I thought was just a boring red creme in the bottle, but was very pleased with the shimmer. I also like this red, because it’s not a classic red like you might expect, it’s deeper. This was two coats.

Dashing Diva Bitter Sweet Dashing Diva Fall 2010 Nail Color Swatches & Review Part II
Bitter Sweet

Bitter Sweet is an uber dark chocolate brow creme. It’s extremely hard to tell this isn’t black, but it’s really not. However it will basically look black indoors, but maybe not quite as harsh. It’s super shiny. This was three coats.

Dashing Diva No More Alimony Dashing Diva Fall 2010 Nail Color Swatches & Review Part II
No More Alimony

No More Alimony is a frosty pale champagne gold with shimmer. I did not like this one at all! It’s incredibly frosty, which looks so dated to me, and the formula was not very good. It’s extremely streaky and you can see all the lines no matter how thin. This was two coats.

Overall:

A few of these surprised me and I wound up liking more than I expected I would. The only one I think is super great here is Tira, Miss U because it’s so unique. I would definitely skip No More Alimony though!

You can find these on their website here and they retail for $8.00 each.

How do you feel about these compared to the first ones I showed?

These colors aren’t as pretty as the first part :/ I like the first color but I don’t like “watery” formulas. Thanks for swatching tho :)

These will probably all be a pass for me, but of the others from your earlier post, I might grab up that green and the teal, liked both of those!
