SpaRitual In Pink Collection for Breast Cancer Awareness Swatches & Review

Can you believe October is next month already? Time is pasing by so quickly lately, it’s spooky!
We all know by now that October is national breast cancer awareness month, and SpaRitual has partnered with the Living in Pink organization, which was founded by Michele Conley, a two time breast cancer survivor. This organization helps to fund research and bring awareness about breast cancer in the hopes of one day finding the cure.
SpaRitual is a very responsible company to humans, animals and the earth. They are big-three free, Vegan and use recycled glass for their bottles. I wish ALL cosmetics companies would get a clue and follow suit!
Obviously this collection is of pink colors, but they aren’t boring cremes, they have fabulous finishes! Each bottle comes with a tiny metal pink ribbon charm attached, which is representative of the cause.

Loving in Pink
Loving in Pink is a light, pale pink with a foil finish. I’m really loving these foil finishes lately, they just look cooler than metallic and way more interesting than creme or glitter to me. They don’t come off that cleanly though so take care with removal so you don’t wind up with shimmery bits all over your fingers. This was two coats.

Living in Pink
Living in Pink is a medium metallic pink with a strong frosty silver look. This isn’t my favorite one because of the heavy frosted look, but the color is pretty. It was pretty opaque so you could do just one coat.

Laughing in Pink
Laughing in Pink is a rose gold pink foil. Ahhhh another rose gold foil, LOVE it! I love that it’s not just pink, it looks gold and coppery also. This was two coats.
Overall:
Obviously these help support a great cause so that is always a plus. I also like them though because they are different from the usual breast cancer collections of the past. More edgy, less “old lady” perhaps.

What do you think about these?

Oh! I love them! I must have. I have been trying to get Spa Ritual’s attention to learn more about them. The spa nearest to my house just switched to their products so I am very curious.

Hi Styrch,
They have such nice stuff. Really most of their polishes apply like butter, so awesome.
I love the first one and the last one! They’re so pretty… just might buy em both. For a good cause, after all. Love the foil look!
Hi ellemck1,
Yep agreed!
loving in pink looks like it could do with another coat. and laughing in pink looks a lot like orly rage!
do agree that the foil finish is awesome though (: looks like a lot of companies are coming out with unique pinks for BCA month! though i must say that i prefer china glaze’s. the collection and polish names are all really inspiring and motivational!
Hi cheryl,
You are right, China Glaze’s BCA collection this year was really great also.
love your new banner!
Hi Ariana,
Thanks!
They are all so beautiful – I think Living is my fave! Can’t wait until October to have some “pink” direction in my nail polish color choice process…
I am going to have to check out this brand. These look fantastic…I really, really love Laughing in Pink, great name for it too!

I really like the first and third one and since my best girlfriend just had breast cancer surgery in May and has gone through treament, I’d like to remind everyone to please, please have a yearly mammogram! She was always current on hers and when she was checked this year, early detection paid off dearly. It was already Stage 2 and fortunately for her, it was only a lumpectomy and she’s already back at work! Take care ladies and I always support this cause! Thanks, Kelly!
The colors look nice! I’m just confused by the rating. There isn’t anything wrong with them per se, and the colors you mostly liked, so why the B-? I love your swatches but tend to avoid looking at final grades because they seem to contradict the review.
And never mind me, I’m clearly blind
B+ totally makes sense. I’d read it as B-
I always associate pink with BORING but those are great!
I don’t have any SpaRitual, but I love the concept. I think the last one is my favorite. That rose foil is stunning. Almost a neutral with “bling.” Thanks for the swatches!
Ooooh. I love all of these. Even the 2nd one.
Pretty colors!!
HI:
The nail polishes are beautiful Kelly. Love Spa Ritual but pink isn’t really for me, LOL Anyway, if the month of September is “Teal” for Raising More Awareness for Ovarian Cancer, and October is “Pink” for Breast Cancer Awareness. what are the remaining months colors? Like December through August? Do they have any assigned colors, iof any?

Once again, thanks for the great swatches! Do you think Laughing in Pink is a dupe for Orly Rage? I pulled up your pics and they look similar.
I also compared the two, on the pics they look similar
really curious if they are indeed dupes
These are very different from the usual pink polishes. I don’t own any of this brand. I’ll have to remedy this very soon. Love the two foils.
Not the biggest fan of pink nail polish, but what these lack in colour, they make up for in the finish. Foils catch the light so well. These look sweet on you.

I recently read a good book – ‘Grace and Grit: Spirituality and Healing in the Life and Death of Treya Killam Wilber’ by Ken Wilbur. A heartwrenching book about Treya’s 5 years with breast cancer. Thanks for the swatches. I like Loving in Pink the best.
