Only a few of the “color” top 5-10 posts left until I can move onto top fav finishes (or whatever I decided to do next). I am kind of shocked that it’s taken me 10 months to get through all these! I need to speed it up.

Today I’ve got one of my favorite nail polish colors, brown. I know a lot of people say they don’t like brown polish, but like red, I really do think there is a brown for everyone! I mean how can you discount an entire color that has SO many ranges and depths?

I realized after going through my stash picking them out that all of them are shimmery! Ooops. I do like brown cremes, but none of them made it into my top 10, which is why you won’t see any here.

All of these have been reviewed on VV in the past so I won’t fully review them here.

Random goat who really seemed to like me

The last couple months I have yammered on about Seche Vite Rebuild and how I liked it and had been testing it. Well I think it’s safe to say I love it now and totally recommend it.

What Rebuild is, is a nail strengthener for weak, peeling and thin nails, which I definitely have. It helps seal the layers of the nail together to prevent the peeling and splitting that can happen.

I have been having peeling issues for as long as I can remember. Especially now, as I age my nails have gotten a lot more ridges than previously (this can happen with age but also can be hereditary). For me what happens on a couple of my nails (mainly my middle finger of right hand) is the ridge is so deep that it goes up my nail to the tip, and then splits at the tip. And it’s not something I can cut off and fix because it does it no matter the length. Damn you RIDGES!!!!!!

So when I was sent this Rebuild to test out I was really hoping it would help. It did!

CND has introduced a new limited edition duo-set called Night Factory for fall 2010. The set includes Urban Oasis and Teal Sparkle.

If you have been reading my site for awhile you know I love these CND Effects they keep coming out with. I think I now own about 10 of them and they are truly amazing.

The formula was spectacular! Urban Oasis (the creme color) applied like butter and I only needed one coat for complete coverage. Teal Sparkle is just as nice, one coat does the job!

Urban Oasis

Urban Oasis is a deep teal blue/green creme with a muted tone to it. On it’s own the color is really beautiful and is different from other teals I already own.
