CND Night Factory Fall 2010 Swatches & Review
CND has introduced a new limited edition duo-set called Night Factory for fall 2010. The set includes Urban Oasis and Teal Sparkle.
If you have been reading my site for awhile you know I love these CND Effects they keep coming out with. I think I now own about 10 of them and they are truly amazing.
The formula was spectacular! Urban Oasis (the creme color) applied like butter and I only needed one coat for complete coverage. Teal Sparkle is just as nice, one coat does the job!
Urban Oasis
Urban Oasis is a deep teal blue/green creme with a muted tone to it. On it’s own the color is really beautiful and is different from other teals I already own.
Urban Oasis with Teal Sparkle
Urban Oasis with Teal Sparkle on top just takes it up another notch. The Teal Sparkle is a blue/green sparkly effect and it gives such a fabulous “sugared” effect on the nail. I love it.

Love. What’s more to say? I love the color and formula of both of these and would wear them partnered together or Urban Oasis on it’s own.

I love Urban Oasis…I think I even like it best by itself. It is such a nice “dusty” teal…unlike all the other teals I own right now!

I say! I think all of their new Colour colors, if that makes sense, have been one coaters or damn near. They are extremely opaque!
Very nice. Loving the one-coatness (is that a word?!) Did the teal stain? That’s my big issue with the American Apparel “Peacock.” Can you use the CND effects on other brands of polish? I mean, do they “play nice” with other formulas. I don’t own any CND. Thanks for any advice.

It didn’t stain at all on me. And yes, they do work well with lots of other brands, haven’t run into one yet they don’t work well with.
Urban Oasis had me at ‘hello’…LOVE! Can’t wait to get my own set of these!
Just out of curiosity-a comparison with some other teals would be interesting.
I do like the look of teal sparkle. Personally I don’t go for standard teal cremes but I love the effect topcoat. I don’t have this one but I have used other CND effects over other polishes just fine. My favourite CND effect so far is Ice Blue Shimmer, which oddly is pretty much a dupe for an old polish I got cheap some time ago: Revlon: Starlight. Anyone know of any dupes (or near dupes) for any of the other CND effects?
Beautiful shade of teal. Like the topcoat also. I believe I have some China Glaze polishes that would give the same effect.

I’ve been waiting for this since you previewed it earlier this year.
Would love to see some comps with MAC’s Blue India and ChG’s Ski Teal We Drop, for starters.
I love CND and have some shades. But, as you said, Urban Oasis is a different teal.
For me it’s gorgeous.
And teal sparkle is perfect. The photo in shade look like a sponging effect.

Thanks, but actually they are pretty short! Only about 1/4 inch past my fingertip. They just look longer than they really are

I think Teal Sparkle would look awesome layered over purple and dark pink cremes.
