China Glaze Vintage Vixen & Seche Vite Giveaway Extravaganza!
Today is the two year anniversary of Vampy Varnish, can you believe it? I feel like it’s been way longer and way shorter since I started!
In order to celebrate this milestone I wanted to reward YOU my dearest readers, because without you I would just be talking about my cats and nail polish and obsession with all things British to a vast, cold, empty space.

Hey. Congrats on a great blog. I’ve only developed my obsession for nails relatively recently – I supposed aided by my discovery of seche vite top coat
It’s really difficult to get nail polish here in Ireland – we have the really expensive brands like chanel etc or cheap brands like rimmel etc. I now do most of my shopping online. The excitement when a parcel gets delivered!! If it arrives before work, I just don’t want to go. I’ve often brought a bottle from a haul with me to work so I can look at it all day – how sad is that?!! I think I have a problem – is there a cure?

I’ve actually only noticed this blog about two months ago. I have never before used nail polish in my life (22yrs), and I came across this site when I was looking for swatches of an OPI polish. YOU OPENED MY EYES! I’ve been looking through years worth of your polish reviews and swatches, and I’ve ordered a total of 11 polishes so far based on your blog. Needless to say, I am super-happy – I live in Norway and I hadnt even HEARD about china glaze etc. before coming across this page.

LOVE THIS BLOG! I only stumbled across it a short while ago, but I knew as soon as I saw the words “polish” and “bacon” in the header that I had found a kindred spirit. I too was an English major, have a “real” job, lament the fact that I never seem to have time to write anything useful/meaningful that doesn’t have to do w/ work, and have nails that grow too fast for acrylic manicures.
I have found your reviews to be spot on. I love nothing more than going out w/ my husband and having someone come up to ask me where I found my nail polish. My friends make fun of me for ordering nail polish online b/c they all buy theirs at CVS, but I love colors that are different and formulas that are worth paying for.
My current faves are Illamasqua’s MILF, OPI’s What’s With the Cattitude, MAC’s Imperial Flower, and China Glaze’s Hey Doll (Already bought that one out of the collection).
PS…I also saw in a previous post that you like cemeteries. Being from the South, I have to recommend Savannah, GA for peak cemetery tourism!

so nice of you to post a giveaway on your two year anniversary! seche vite is my HG top coat, but i gave mine away to my mom because she works so much and she hardly has time to paint her nails so seche vite helps alot!

I seriously want to love seche vite but my polish chips or peels away within a day! I’ve tried using less, using more, not covering the entire nail, new bottles, apply before polish dries, applying after polish dries, everything i can think of. =(
