SpaRitual Imagine Collection Fall 2010 Swatches & Review
SpaRitual has a wonderful new collection for fall 2010 called Imagine.
“The six new inspiring shades represent a life filled with prosperity, wisdom, and creativity”.
- Living in the Moment – Cashmere mauve creme
- Endless Possibilities – Midnight plum creme
- Unconditional Love - Peach shimmer
- Health, Wealth & Happiness – Huey blue shimmer
- A World of Compassion – Dusty periwinkle creme
- Dreams Becoming Reality – Cool blue turquoise
One of my favorite things about SpaRitual is how environmentally friendly they are. Their polishes are Vegan, big-3 free and packaged in recycled bottles. I also love the rubberized caps, it really helps when you’ve got slippery lotion on your hands!
I love that this collection isn’t a bunch of colors you would expect in a fall collection. In fact quite a few of them seem more like spring colors. But they totally work anyway.
The formula cannot be overlooked here, these are really amazing, as most of their polishes are. They are so smooth, creamy and perfect! All of these covered completely in two coats.
Living in the Moment
Living in the Moment is a pale taupe/mauve creme. Everyone and their mother seems to have a color like this and guess what? I don’t mind because I love them! It just looks so sophisticated and yet edgy also.
A World of Compassion
A World of Compassion is a dusty periwinkle or cornflower creme. If you have been reading my site for awhile you know periwinkle is one of my favorite colors. I just LOVE it so much. It’s unusual and extremely flattering on my skin. I like that it’s not an expected fall color, more of a spring one, but they put it in anyway. This is so pretty what else can I say – BUY IT, haha.
Dreams Becoming Reality
Dreams Becoming Reality is a teal blue creme. Now I know people will think this might be a dupe for MAC Blue India, but it’s actually a brighter blue. This is pretty and I like it, but am not blown away by it.
Health, Wealth & Happiness
Health, Wealth & Happiness is a shimmery purple duochrome. INSANE. The base is a violet purple and it flashes pale blue. They describe it as a “huey blue” and I have no clue what that is. I Googled it but couldn’t find anything conclusive. I assume it’s some kind of Pantone blue color, but not sure. Anyway it’s purple in my eyes, and it is really incredible.
Endless Possibilities
Endless Possibilities is a deep, vampy plum creme. This is the most “fall” color in this collection, I think. It’s really pretty and shiny, but I do have others similar. It did cover really nicely in two coats though and most vampy colors this dark are three coaters.
Unconditional Love
Unconditional Love is a coppery/pink foil with shimmer. This color is sooo pretty it reminds me of rose gold. I have a weak spot for copper and rose gold colors because they tend to be cooler and look great on me. I also love the foil effect of this.
Overall:
I think this is a really great collection all in all. Every single color is one I would wear and the formula is so fantastic. These might be on the expensive side for some people, but because they are Vegan, responsible, have such cool colors and great formula, I really feel they are worth it.

I just realized that every time I read “Huey Blue” I read it as “Huey Bluey”.
Oooh. I love Health, Wealth, and Happiness…it looks like a plum version of RBL’s Scrangie. I also love Living in the Moment and I don’t have a color like this (even though it’s really popular right now). Must head to Sephora and pick up a bottle of Metro Chic to fill that gap in my collection!

If I were to guess, Huey blue is probably related to Huey helicopters. That’s the first thing that pops into my head. Second would be my cousin, Hugh, whom I have always called Huey. He’s more of a pinky-peach than blue, though. Well, I guess his eyes are blue. /dork

Feels like the colors I’m leaning towards would have to be seen in person. I wish SpaRitual was more easily available. I don’t want to hunt down a spa/salon and if I *did*, I wouldn’t want to go in without getting a pedicure or facial… I’m weird like that – don’t want to seem like a cheapskate.
I simply love A World of Compassion and Health, Wealth and Happiness. Very unique!

I like that they deviated from the standard fall colors. This is a nice collection, though I’m not feeling all of them. Health, Wealth, and Happiness looks the most interesting of the bunch. I’m also happy to see that taupey colors are hot right now; can’t get enough of that shade!

I’m getting World of Compassion! ….and maybe HWH. Living in the Moment reminds me of Metro Chic, Dreams Becoming Reality reminds me of OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui, and Endless Possibilities reminds me of OPI William Tell Me. I know they’re not dupes, and maybe it’s just me, but all these colors are seeming to blur together! lol
I really like the recycled components of SpaRitual and the formula sounds great, so I’m eager to try it. Thanks for all swatches! It really helps trying to figure out which hue of a color I like the best.
I don’t own any SpaRitual polishes, but I think I have to have Health, Wealth, & Hapiness. I’ve never seen anything like it, and I absolutelty love it! (:
