Milani Nail Flash Nail Lacquer Collection Swatches & Review
Recently at a local drugstore I saw a new-ish looking nail collection from Milani called Nail Flash. It’s comprised of four glittery, duochrome colors, so I had to check them out!
The formula on all of these is really good. They all covered in two coats and I had zero issues. The duochrome effect is more of a strong glittery flash of various colors rather than a true duochrome.
Flash Light
Flash Light is a bright orange with a strong yellow and pink flash. This is a really pretty and opaque orange though, and I liked it more than I thought I would.
In A Flash
In A Flash is a deep raspberry pink with a purple and light pink flash. Gorgeous and saturated, I love it.
Photo Flash
Photo Flash is a red/pink with a red and gold flash. This looks almost identical to In A Flash in this picture. So much so that when I was editing the pics I couldn’t tell the difference for a minute! They are definitely different in person though.
Hot Flash
Hot Flash is a reddish brown with red and gold flash. This was my least favorite color, it’s just kinda blah to me.
Overall:
I think these are cool colors, but nothing really groundbreaking per se. The most interesting ones are Flash Light and In A Flash for me.

I have Photo Flash and just wore it last week. In my local CVS there was a little candy dish in the polish section and it just had a few loose bottles in it. I saw this color and fell in love. I figured it was a DC line since there were only a few in the dish. Had it for about 3 weeks and just tried it. Mine looks a bit darker than the pictures here and looks like a deep raspberry but still gorgeous.

I like the looks of In a Flash and since I have that lipgloss, maybe I’ll grab the nail polish when I see it. Although it depends on where I am… some drugstores have tons of Milani and others have zilch. I heart Milani eye shadows BIGTIME, so I guess it’s best for my budget if all the stores do not carry them. *wink*

I am really getting more into Milani now. A lot of drug stores near me started carrying all the cool stuff from them so I have access to it now, yay!
This post inspired me to get ‘In a Flash’ and I finally got around to getting it today and I LOVE it!!!! Its such a deep raspberry, absolutely gorgeous. I can’t stop looking at my nails. I love love love your posts by the way!
I really love Milani lately. I bought the whole collection. I love the foil and metallic look. I also bought Dress Maker last week. It’s supossed to be a dupe for Chanel’s Jade. Whether it is or not, I love this shade. It also wore well. Only one tiny chip in 5 days. That’s rare for me. Everything I wear chips within a day.
