MAC Viva Glam Lipglass Cyndi & Gaga Swatches & Review
MAC’s new Viva Glam From Our Lips campaign is designed to bring awareness of the challenges that women face now being the fastest growing group that are affected by HIV/AIDS in the world.
Now that Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga are spokespeople for Viva Glam, we are seeing some fabulous things!
We have already seen the Viva Glam lipstick that they created, and now we get the corresponding limited edition lipglasses! I for one am very pleased to see these because I generally wear lip gloss more than lipstick.
- Viva Glam Cyndi – Mid-tone dirty coral
- Viva Glam Gaga – Light blue pink

Gaga is a very pale, cool pink that’s a little on the sheer side. There is definitely a lot of blue in it, just like the lipstick. I feel the Lipglass is definitely more wearable for more people than the lipstick was. It’s less harsh and “retro” looking, although personally I loved the lipstick on my skin tone. The one thing that always happens with these sheer pinks on me is the color settles right away into the lines in my lips, which isn’t my favorite thing. Of course it’s emphasized a lot here with this zoomed in picture.
Cyndi is a coral red with red and gold shimmer. I am very excited about this one because it’s not often I can find colors like this that work for me. I passed up the Cyndi lipstick because I felt it was too orange, but this is really gorgeous.
Overall:
These are definitely worth checking out, especially if you liked the lipsticks and like Lipglasses in general. These will only be available for 6 months after they start selling, so strike while the iron is hot!

OMG I adore the Cyndi gloss. I feel like that color is just so flattering. I think I might NEED to get the lipstick and gloss before it’s too late!

I’ll definitely be getting Cyndi – those sorts of clean fresh rose colours are surprisingly hard to come by, and I already love the lipstick version of it.

I’m like you – I’m one of the few who LOVES Viva Glam Gaga lippie on my skin tone. I rock it daily. Don’t know about the lipgloss though. This might be a good opportunity to snag the Cyndi though!

Cyndi, Cyndi, Cyndi! From the photos yesterday I wouldve thought Gaga would be my pick, but Cyndi looks like it would be a better match. I didnt get the lipsticks because I just dont do lipstick well. I own one that I’ll continually wear (Avon Sheer Natural) but usually it just looks too bold on me.

Between these, the dazzle lipstuffs & Dare to Wear shadows my debit card is screaming… and I still must have at least 2 things from the upcoming Disney Villians..

I am a Cyndi type of gal…gorgoeous!
Now that I’ve seen Cyndi I may have to buy it. Very pretty shade on you. Last night I was looking through my makeup collection. OMG! I don’t think I should buy another thing for the rest of my life. I almost fainted just looking at all of the glosses. Darn it’s hard when your addicted to polish and makeup.
