MAC Fabulous Felines Lipstick Fall 2010 Swatches & Review
There are twelve (TWELVE!) new lipsticks in the MAC Fabulous Felines fall collection and I’ve got some to show ya.
The entire collection consists of:
- Pet Me Please – Frosted light dirty mauve (Burmese Beauty)
- To Pamper – Creamy mid-tone taupe (Burmese Beauty)
- Liquid Lurex – Light yellow green with dazzle multipearl (Burmese Beauty)
- Kittenish – Deep berry red (Burmese Beauty)
- Superior – Sheer lavender pink with dazzle pink pearl (Palace Pedigreed)
- Of Royalty – Light creamy blue pink (Palace Pedigreed)
- Aristo-Cat – Mid-tones frosted purple mauve (Palace Pedigreed)
- Cunning – Dark berry (Palace Pedigreed)
- Out Minxed – Light yellow gold (Leopard Luxe)
- Drive Me Wild – Mid-tone warm coral with gold pearl (Leopard Luxe)
- Powerful – Mid-tone bronze with dazzle multipearl (Leopard Luxe)
- The Prowl – Creamy dark chocolate (Leopard Luxe)

Of Royalty (Cremesheen) is a very creamy light blue pink. I love these kinds of colors because they suit my skin tone very well and have that 60′s retro look. This one isn’t as unwearable as some can be though, which is nice. I also love that it didn’t look chalky even though it’s so pale.
Drive Me Wild (Cremesheen) is a medium coral with gold shimmer. This actually looked pretty nice on my skin, it wasn’t too warm or orange.
Aristo-Cat (Frost) is a mauve/purple color. I liked it more in the tube than on my lips. Most of the time mauve lip colors don’t work on me, and this one really didn’t either. Not a huge fan of the frosted finish either, I prefer Cremesheen’s.

Overall:
I am really loving Of Royalty, even though I feel I have quite a few colors like this already. I liked Drive Me Wild enough but probably wouldn’t reach for it much since I don’t wear much coral. I say skip Aristo-Cat unless you can pull off a mauve lip and not look like a corpse.

I’m really liking Artisto-cat but I don’t know if the color is good for me.
I want to try the third one, but I don’t know how well that’ll go. We’ll see! =]
Drive Me Wild is so pretty on you! I can’t pull colors like that off so I’m jealous.

Aristo-Cat is actually my favourite of the 3 even though the other two are nice. Pale pinks are tough for me to pull off and coral lipsticks scream the 80s when I wear them.

I went & bought Drive Me Wild today. The MAC girl said it would be great for my coloring & she also asked where I heard about it. I told her that I found it on a blog & told her that you blog all about make-up.
