MAC Fabulous Felines Leopard Luxe Eye Shadow Quad & Pigments Fall 2010 Swatches & Review
From MAC’s Fabulous Felines Leopard Luxe collection, I present to you the Leopard Luxe Eye Shadow Quad.
She boasts of four gorgeous, warm colors:
- Wild By Nature – Mid-tone camel (Matte)
- Style Predator – Frosted mid-tone yellow orange (Veluxe Pearl)
- Notoriety – Dirty brown with gold pearl (Velvet)
- Furiously Fabulous - Frosted warm black (Veluxe Pearl)

I found these colors to be pretty opaque, but I do wish Notoriety was a little more saturated. I do love that the gold glitter actually shows up on the skin rather than just in the palette. Wild By Nature was very smooth feeling as were the other two. Furiously Fabulous was a little on the patchy side, but I think it’s a gorgeous deep black/brown and one I will be happy to work a little more with.

Lithe
- Frosted warm nude with gold pearl (Leopard Luxe)
Lithe is a very pretty pale gold pigment. The color is pretty, yet subtle. I didn’t feel as though this was as pigmented as some other pigments (haha) though.
Bloodline
- Dark dirty browned purple (Palace Pedigreed)
Bloodline looks amazing in the jar. It’s a really dark chocolate brown with deep purple in it. However it didn’t translate that great on my skin. It was pretty saturated, but I was missing the purple, it showed mostly as brown.

Overall:
There is SO much in the Fabulous Felines collection I am sure most people can find something that they like. It is really hard to figure where to even start with collections this huge though! Most of what I reviewed are warmer colors, which is ok, but I am a “cool” gal most of the time. Of course you don’t usually find cool colored cats (except my Sammy with his cool green eyes), so I can obviously see where they were going with the collection.
Everything is available online and in stores today so get ‘em while ya can!

This is a fabulous collection. I love the eye shadow quads. I’m going to go check these out online.
I like these colors but I don’t think they’d look good on me. I’d have to work really hard to get these to work. I feel like the quad would look all “muddled” on my lids. But, I can see it working for many warm complexions.
Hey Kelly! I got the Leopard quad and O-M-G…it is soooo freakin AWESOOOOOOME, I can’t even stand it!!!!! I also got the green and the taupey Jin Soon n/p. MAC is my CRACK….LOL they are making me go broke with every collection. Oh well, you only live once, right? Take care girl.
