Jordana LOL Lip Out Loud Super Shiny Lip Gloss Swatches & Review
Have you ever heard of Jordana Cosmetics? Well I hadn’t until recently, but they have been a family owned business for 18 years, based in Los Angeles, CA.
Jordana has a range of over 1,000 products from eye colors to nail colors to lip colors. I’ve got some of the LOL Lip Out Loud glosses for ya’ll today.
There are fifteen different colors in this particular line so far and I was REALLY surprised by how much I liked them; especially considering I had never heard of the brand.
L to R: FYI, ASAP, TTYL, GR8, OMG
- FYI is a pale cotton candy pink creme
- ASAP is a sheer pink opalescent glitter
- TTYL is a peachy/pink with gold shimmer
- GR8 is a bright flamingo pink with gold shimmer
- OMG is a deep red with red shimmer

The formula on these is really nice. They are not sticky at all and have a nice candy scent that isn’t too juvenile or overpowering. They were more opaque than I expected them to be, but a couple are still on the more sheer side. I did have some issues with OMG, the darkest red color. It tended to be a little patchy and took some effort to get it to look decent. But then again there aren’t very many red lip colors that are easy to apply!
The applicator on these is a longer, bent doe-foot one, which isn’t my favorite. I find these hard to control, so I do wish it was either shorter or a small brush style.
They definitely have a nice glossy shine to them, which is always something I want in an actual lip gloss. A lot of times companies call it lip gloss, when in fact there isn’t much shine. These have the shine!
On average they last about 2 hours before I “need” to reapply, which is pretty standard for me. This is only if I don’t eat anything.

For the price of the glosses and the quality you get, I think these are a great value!

These look great, and I’m totally down with the price, haha. I’m glad to see Jordana coming out with new products; their displays always look a bit lacking in drugstores. Hopefully, they’ll continue with more great stuff like this.

Glad you checked out the brand, I am still totally rockin some super bright eyes! I am able to get the blue toned down, but the green I wear all the time with either the pink or purple…I love that they are cheap enough to expiriment with!! They have a small display at wal greens but we have a Ben Franklin Crafts here and they have a HUGE display!!!

These all look great! I am torn about gloss. I find most of it too sticky, and when my hair is longer, I end up with hair on my lips.
I usually wear lipstick and save the gloss for rare occasions!

I am so with you on that! I am dealing with it lately with my hair being longer and it’s Super windy in South San Francisco, boo. I love lipstick and have so many, but it usually dries my lips out really fast compared to gloss.

I have a few nail polishes from this brand. I didn’t know there were that many products. Lip gloss is very pretty.
