MAC Dare To Wear Eyeshadow Swatches & Review
Happy Friday!
MAC just released the Dare To Wear collection this week and I picked up a few of the eyeshadows and lipglasses.
Not all of these are brand spankin’ new colors. Going Bananas, Winkle, Lime, and Atlantic Blue are either re-promotes or are available at MAC Pro stores. However I had none of these babies, so they were all new to me! I didn’t get the ones that didn’t appeal to me so there are six others in the eyeshadow collection.
The ones I got run the gamut of texture from matte to frost to satin to veluxe pearl. I always have a harder time applying matte shadows than anything else because they have a tendency to look chalky and not blend that well. I haven’t yet used these on my eyes though so I can’t say these will do the same thing.
All the satins, frosts and veluxe pearl ones applied very nicely when I swatched them.
Going Bananas
Going Bananas is a medium frost yellow.
Lime
Lime is a bright matte lime green with a lot of yellow in it.
Winkle
Winkle is a medium periwinkle blue satin.
Crazy Cool
Crazy Cool is a lavender veluxe pearl.
Atlantic Blue
Atlantic Blue is a deep cool matte blue.
Sassy Grass
Sassy Grass is a bright, medium green matte.

I got Going Bananas all ready but Sassy Grass is just calling my name! I’ve been trying to resist it since I rarely wear green eyeshadow, but totally love it. I think I might kick myself if I don’t get it though.
