Ulta Glam Goth Nail Polish Swatches, Reviews & Giveaway!
Afternoon!
I have something special for you today! As you might have heard, Ulta did a limited edition 5 piece nail lacquer collection called Glam Goth. I am really glad I picked up a set…or FOUR recently 
This is my first time using Ulta’s nail formula so I didn’t really have any expectations whatsoever. Turns out I was pretty pleased with them! They all applied really nicely and most of them were totally opaque in two coats.
Read on for swatches and something extra…
For Bitten
For Bitten is a deep reddish/brownish/black with chunks of duochrome glitter. This one is highly unusual and gorgeous. It flashes so many different colors and it looks lit from within. LOVE! This was two coats.
After Hours
After Hours is a dark grape purple with pink, purple and blue shimmer. Very pretty and really nice application with this one. This was two coats.
Black Lace
Black Lace is a very dark slate grey creme. Not sure why they called it “Black” when it’s definitely not, but that’s ok. This was particularly shiny (no top coat on in this pic) and covered nicely in two coats.
Tainted Love
Tainted Love is a gorgeous green with tons of green and gold shimmer. This reminds me a lot of Sally Hansen Project Runway but it’s maybe not quite as dark a green. Gorgeous! This was thinner so I used three coats here.
Underground
Underground is a dark blue with teal shimmer. This was really pretty, but does look extremely dark in low lighting and I might have a few that are very similar. This was two coats.

I like ‘For Bitten’, ‘After Hours’, ‘Tainted Love’ and ‘Underground’ a lot. Oh wait, that’s 4 out of 5. I think ‘After Hours’ is my favorite, I don’t think I have a purple quite like that one. Wow! So hard to choose just one, but if I HAD to decide, it would have to be Tainted Love! Green is my favorite color (w/blue running a very close 2nd) & this one looks like anyone could wear it, not just those into the darker, Goth colors. Not that I wouldn’t wear all of ‘em! LOL! The green would also be wearable right now as a summer color as well.

I am not sure if I like after hours or black lace better … but the shimmer in after hours persuaded me
I just love those multicolored shimmers. Black lace does look nice, too. I think I might try to franken this one, I don’t own a deep dark grey yet.

I love this whole collection. My favorite is Tainted love. I have wanted the SH Project runway color since I first saw it on line. My neighbor went to Canada and I even asked her to look for it since I heard it was exclusive to there. No luck unfortunately. At first glance, it was a toss-up between Tainted Love and After Hours. I’ve started to get into greens recently (my favorite so far is Nubar Reclaim). But, I think I like After Hours a tiny bit better; the combination of colors is beautiful. Honestly, I didn’t know Ulta had it’s own line of polishes but, I’ve only been in Ulta one time (turns out my boyfriend can’t amuse himself in the store while I browse).

For Bitten and Underground are my favorite. For some reason, I love wearing darker colors with shimmer in the Summer. Maybe it’s because you can really see the shimmer in the sunlight. Tainted Love looks like it could be promising over Jade Is The New Black by OPI.
