Zoya Wicked Collection for Fall 2010 Swatches & Review
Good morning!!
Guess what I have today for you? One of Zoya’s new collections for fall 2010 called Wicked. This is a collection of 6 new amazing glittery, metallic colors that I think will knock your socks off! And let me first tell you the hell I went through before swatching these.
I left work at 3:25 to take the company bus to the BART train station, which is what I do every day. I found out that there were no trains running to my side of the Bay though because of an accident. Well it so happens that Mr. VV drove into the city, so he came by the BART station to pick me up. He got there at 3:50. We were stuck in GRIDLOCK traffic all the way home. I got home at 6:50!! So I spent 3 hours and 25 minutes trying to get home. All because of a stupid Giants game that just let out at rush hour. Ridiculous; I have never been in traffic like that. We lierally could have been in Lake Tahoe or Reno in a hotel room relaxing by the time we got home!
So I get home, am starving, but then see I got the Wicked collection delivered. The sun was disappearing, I was in the middle of cooking dinner, yet I swatched! I’m a multi-tasker at heart 
I even stood in the middle of the lawn while the sprinklers were going off to take these pics, so I hope you enjoy them! Bear in mind these were taken at 7:15 so the sun was going down.
The formula on these was really great I didn’t have any issues whatsoever.They were all opaque in two coats.

Edtya
Edtya is a fern green with multi-colored shimmer. This is totally stunning in person, this pic doesn’t do it justice at all. The green is a deep greyish/green, and all the green, gold and other colored shimmer is just fantastic! LOVE IT and don’t have anything like it.
JulieAnne
JulieAnne is a deep royal purple with light purple shimmer. It’s AMAZING. Just the purple base alone is spectacular but then you add all that shimmer and it glows. Really that’s what I love about it is the lit-from-within glow it has!
Karina
Karina is a deep garnet red with red and gold shimmer. This is a very pretty color, reminds me of Christmas actually!
Cheryl
Cheryl is a chocolate brown color with bronze shimmer. This is another one that blows me away. I really love brown shimmers, they are some of my favorite colors actually, but this has got to be one of the best I’ve seen. This one also totally glows, it’s just so pretty! I know I am going to be wearing this a lot.
Kym
Kym is a red/mauve with gold and red shimmer. It’s really pretty but not a color I personally think I would wear a lot.
Carrie Ann
Carrie Ann is a bright, warm red with red and gold shimmer. This is a beauty also, I like it a lot!
Overall I think Zoya did an excellent job with this collection. There are a few that I think are total must haves though which are Edtya, JulieAnne and Cheryl. I think the others are nice also, but not quite as unique. One of my favorite things about this collection is that all the colors look like they are glowing.

I just recieved JulieAnne and Edyta today. I esp. like the Edyta..it’s so different from what I usually wear. Zoya’s delivery time is SPEEDY btw

Oh, wanted to add that I’m sorry that you had to endure that nightmare commute. I’m wondering about the Oscar Grant murder trial verdict (when it comes down) and how that’s going to affect the Bay Area.

Yeah it’s supposed to affect downtown Oakland. I think the train will bypass all Oakland stops to avoid any issues. Fun times.

We seem to think alike, my Zoya Wicked selections “must have’s,” are the same as yours. “…There are a few that I think are total must haves though which are Edyth, Julie Anne and Cheryl. Yes! Those three I am, “drooling over” and must have them, LOL

LOVE cheryl! One of my favorite colors is that chocolatey-bronze-red.
By the way, are the names of these nail polishes named after the pro dancers on ABC’s dancing with the stars…. or just coincidence?!

Well, if the no-buy I mentioned my comment on your Wonderful post doesn’t pan out, I’ll have to do some serious reining in of polish purchases. SO, I think I’d just wind up w/ the three you had as your picks. Between this and CG’s Vintage Vixen collection, I’m not sure I’ll be able to stop myself from getting a few colors from each collection!

First Class Ticket is a brighter grape purple, more vivid. It’s also got some blue shimmer in it whereas this one doesn’t.

I have been looking for a color like Edtya for so long. It’s the the perfect combination green and gold. I’ve never been a big fan of bronzes but Cheryl is definitely worth a try.

By far my fave is Edtya; I did like Cheryl a lot. But something about Edtya just “Pops” off the nail!!!

I love this collection! And I love the fact that all of these polishes are named after Dancing with the Stars dancers. That is awesome.

The only exception is Cheryl…I’m not into browns, they just don’t suit me…

It’s not a straight up glitter, glitter, but it is a glittery shimmer. Much easier to remove than glitter though.

I love the first two colors! The first one reminds me of a Hard Candy polish I bought last year. I didn’t realize you live in the Bay Area – I lived in San Francisco for 8 years and miss living there:(

JulieAnn looks just like that one from the Sparkle collection, doesn’t it? And three reds? I’m not sure I’m much into this one, maybe the brown and green.

It’s totally different from Stromboli, not even the same green range. Sephora by OPI 212 is a blackened olive green with glitter, so it’s nothing like it either. It’s hot!

You’ll need to download the Sports Teams calendar to your calendar, to see when it is dangerous to try to go home! I can’t believe you did all that swatching with everything else, I’m sure I would have smudged. Edyta and perhaps Cheryl are my favorites so far, what great colors!
