Chewy has this obsession with getting on top of this cabinet, which is above our toilet, and then taking off the plastic casing that surrounds the fan and light on the ceiling. Do not ask me HOW or WHY a cat would be remotely interested in this, but he is. Sometimes we come home from work and the whole thing is hanging down. He thinks he’s some sort of electrician apparently. I caught him one day and he totally tried to play it off like he was just chilling there.

Hi friends!

I thought I would check in with you and let you know what the word on the street is with VV.

As you may have noticed I have done a few posts in my other categories. I just couldn’t stay away for long, and those are so quick and easy anyway!

I have decided to keep VV up and running! I do really enjoy it, I just think I burned myself out by posting 5-6 days a week.

I will be returning soon with nail polish posts, but not just yet. I am still on a sort of “hiatus” for now. When I return, I won’t be posting as often as I was. I’m not sure how much, and I would hate to say a number then not be able to keep up. I just don’t think it’s realistic to post like I had been AND work full time. I REALLY wish I didn’t have to work full time and I could do this all day long, but that’s not realistic either, sadly. I also have another project going on that has been on the back-burner for about 18 months, so I will be spending time on that as well. More to come on that later on.

I have to say, all the wonderful comments you guys left really fueled me back up. You are so supportive and I want to thank you all – you are the greatest!

I have also decided to go ahead with a site re-design, which has just started. Thanks to all who participated in the survey I did, it was very helpful. There were quite a few things you guys mentioned that I had either never thought of, or problems that didn’t know were happening, etc., so thanks!

The new site should be up in approx 4-6 weeks, and I really hope you guys like it. I am super excited about it myself! It’s going to be cleaner, more streamlined and easier to navigate. I am going to keep a personal touch with this site because quite frankly, I think that’s what makes my site stand out from almost all other nail blogs out there. However I am getting rid of the photo tabs and daily photo area. While I like them, they are a bit “clunky” and just add to the amount of work I have to maintain on the site. But don’t fret, there will still be a more personal area where I will post pics of my animals and other fun things!

If you have not yet tried this dark chocolate bar with chunks of bacon in it, get thyself to a store STAT and consume some! No really, the mix of sweet and salty is divine.

I took this picture when Squirt was just a wee lass. She climbed into the doll house my dad made for me when I was five. So cute! The doll house is a three story, pink/white San Francisco style Victorian with wall paper and working lights. I played for HOURS with that thing.
