Bloom Nail Polish Swatches & Review
What up party people of the world?
Today I have some polishes I have been coveting for quite some time by Bloom. Sorry to tease all those not in Australia, but these are hard to get unless you live there. I did a little swap with a fellow blogger/Twitter buddy over at Pretty Random.
These wound up being everything I had hoped for and more!
The formula on these was totally great. Smooth, good flow, even and opaque in two coats. Everything you would expect for the slightly more expensive price.
Bianca
Bianca is a sea-green duochrome with gold shimmer that flashes blue. It’s like this amazing color you would see on a mermaid. Hawt!
Josephine
Josephine is a royal purple with blue shimmer and a red duochrome effect. I do have some other color similar to this, but honestly I don’t care! I love this type of color and finish, and the formula was spot on.
Jessica Mauboy I
Jessica Mauboy I is a deep, glowing red with gold shimmer. You can’t quite see the gold much once it’s on your nail, but you do see a ton of shimmery red. This color wasn’t initially on my radar as I hadn’t seen swatches of it. But Kaz told me I should check out her swatches and as soon as I saw it, I knew I needed it. It’s just got that lit from within thing I love so much, and this is probably now one of my top 5 reds!
Overall I am super pleased with these and if you like them, you should try doing a swap with someone from the land down under! But please don’t bombard Kaz with requests!

actually we have these in the UK too! they’re expensive though, about £8/bottle if i recall correctly…..

Those are really pretty! Too bad it sounds like they are only available in Australia. I had to Google Jessica Mauboy. Now I know she is an Australian R&B singer!

Bianca reminds me of a greener version of Sally’s Girl “Dumped” . I might have to talk to one of my friends there to see if she can get me one of these! Thanks for the pictures ~Patricia

i remember them , beautiful colors,nice posts and pics too. I recall them being availible in the states about 10 yrs ago i saw it a either bloomies or norstrom way back in the late 90′s or early 2000′s i got it on the mile in chicago i wondered what happened to bloom

You are correct! They do still have some of their really old colors and bottle designs here in some places. They all seem to be pretty boring pinks and nudes and reds though. I wish like crazy they would at least ship to here from Australia, but they don’t.

I love these colors especially Bianca and Jessica Mauboy I! Too bad we can’t get these in the U.S. I love that lit from within!
These are awesome! I love all three. I do wish the gold showed up more on the nail because it looks beautiful in the bottle.
Oh how I wish it were easier to get my hands on Bloom polishes!! I’ve wanted Bianca forever!! It’s so gorgeous!! Why don’t they sell them in the states more?? *so pretty*

GOR-GEE-OUS! The finish looks so perfect on these! If I’m ever down under, I will have to check them out. OMG…the Daily Photo has been stuck on bacon for what feels like forever…LOL! Makes me hungry every time I visit your site!!
They’re available in NZ too, but definitely on the expensive end of the scale – up there with OPI (over $20 NZD / $14 USD a bottle).
I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of them but especially Jessica Mauboy I. So gorgeous and like almost lit-from-within status!

In Canada you can find Bloom at London Drugs. I don’t know what the prices are for the nail polish though. I definitely be picking up Jessica Mauboy though!
These all look gorgeous on you. I’ve just discovered the joys of swapping on MUA, and I am awaiting Bianca and a few BYSs from my latest trade – I can’t wait!!
All three of them look amazing! I’ve been curious about Bloom for a long time, but have never gotten a chance to try them.

Jessica Mauboy looks VERY much like Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Red Carpet in these pics. I actually have it on right now and it’s by far my favorite red eveeeer. Plus, you can get it for cheap at CVS

Bianca is also a lovely shade of mermaid green and the red colored with gold, “Jessica Mau boy I,” would look lovely on any woman’s nails, It looks spectacular on yours. Have a great day.
