Zoya Sparkle Collection Summer 2010 Swatches & Review
Happy Tuesday!
Let’s hope today is a lot better than yesterday, which was the worst Monday since I can remember!
SOOOO as you probably already know Zoya has two new collections out for summer this year. The one I am showing today is called Sparkle, and it’s six amazingly sparkly, glittery metallics.
The formula on these was totally fantastic. I had great coverage, none were too thick or too sheer, and they dried pretty darn quickly also! Most of these I used three coats on because I am a 3-coater by nature; but you could do two.

Gilda
Gilda is a bright cool pink with pink and gold shimmer. Very pretty and quite possibly one of my fav pinks now (darn it just missed my list!)

Nidhi
Nidhi is an warm red with pink, gold and silver shimmer. I quite liked this on me, it looked better than I had imagined it would, and it was really opaque in two coats (I did use only two here).

Alegra
Alegra is a fuchsia pink with light pink and gold shimmer. This has a blue-ish flash to it which I love.

Charla
Charla is a ocean blue with gold and blue shimmer. It’s got a green and purple flash to it you can’t really see in this pic. This is even more amazing in person, it’s like mermaid scales!

Ivanka
Ivanka is a emerald green with gold shimmer. It’s got a bit of a purple/blue flash to it in the bottle, but you don’t see much of it on the nail.

Mimi
Mimi is a royal purple with gold and pink shimmer. This, surprisingly, wound up being my favorite one of the bunch. It’s so rich and jewel-like!

Overall YAY! I was a little on the fence about this collection until I actually saw them in person. I am pretty much over glitters at this moment in time, but these are just not your basic glitters. They are all totally outstanding, unique colors, and I plan on wearing each and every one, which is rare!
Oh and a word about removal. It’s not that bad. Just use the simple rules I talked about in my video here and you should be good to go!

They were having the offer for free Remove + so I bought Nidhi. I rarely buy reds and pinks but it caught my eye. And you’re right.. I surprisingly really like it on. Now that I see all of the swatches I wish I’d bought a few others as well.
I’m still not won over by this collection. I like the colors, but I’m not a big fan of big glitter. Subtle glitter is nice but these are pretty blingy!

Love them. Nidhi is a bit orange-leaning for me and I am learning to avoid that. I adore Ivanka.

YES YES YES!!! THESE ARE THE BOMB– i really don’t wear glitter because of the removal-(thanks for the channel7 news) i got my mimi yesterday and i’m wearing it so is my 3 yr old she says “sooo pretty mom”. i also want charla now!!!!!
I’m normally a glitter hater but I love all of these. I don’t think Gilda would look very good on me though. I’ve worn similar shades and I just didn’t think I could pull them off. I surprisingly like Nidhi even though I’m not much of a red person. Its different than most red glitters I’ve seen.
are they any easier to remove than other glittahs?

I had no problems removing them as long as I used 1/2 cotton ball per nail and only swiped like two times.
I love this collection, think all of these look amazing! I’m gonna buy Ivanka, Mimi and Charla for sure.

The pinks are my favorite. So summery & hot! The swatches look terrific.
I don’t usually go for glitters, but these look pretty special. I like Alegra the most, closely followed by Charla and Gilda. Zoya is my favorite brand at the moment. They always seem to offer that extra something which makes their polish more interesting.
