1. How has your week been so far? Not that great. Can’t really talk about it because it’s work related and I don’t want to get Dooced, but basically everything sucks right now.
2.Do you consider yourself to be technically savvy? Yes. I think in order to keep up with the world in this day and age it’s a necessity; but I also love technology and gadgets!
3. What’s on your nails? Zoya Nidhi
4. Oreo Double Stuff cookies, love ‘em or hate ‘em? I love them. Perhaps a little too much. I could just really eat the inside and toss the cookie part. 
5. What is your current favorite lip balm? MAC Lip Conditioner is my fav, I can’t get enough of it. I also like Smith’s Rosebud Salve.
6. Do you have any “spring rituals”? I seem to do some purging of the closets and other things in the spring more frequently. But I like donating things all year around in general.
7. What’s your favorite wild animal? Wolves and Snow Leopards are tied.
8. How many cities have you lived in? Five.
9. If you have a cat, do you collect cat whiskers that fall out? Ok some of you might think I’m crazy, but I have a sneaking suspicion some of you do this also. I happen to have a little container filled with whiskers from every cat I have ever owned! No I don’t pluck them out, I only grab them when I see them fall out. I have so many now that I don’t collect them anymore and don’t really even know whose is whose. Hmmm, I wonder if I can clone them now from their whiskers, lol!
10. What’s your least favorite song? Touch Of Gray or really anything by the Grateful Dead. Ironically instead of making me feel peace, love and happiness they make me stabby.

VV-I noticve that you are a Zoya fan. Do you find that with the darker colors, the formula has a grey tone to it? I was sooooo excited to get Suvi and I was not so impressed.

Yeah I like Zoya. Actually Suvi is one of my favs from them. I get what you are saying about the greyish tone in that one though.

1. How has your week been so far? Up and down, but I am feeling happy…I tend to be a happy person, and adjust to what is going on. I know when I don’t that the blues have set in, but they don’t last for long. I just brush off the crap that I step in, and move on to the next thing.
2.Do you consider yourself to be technically savvy? Yes.
3. What’s on your nails? Misa’s Dirty Sexy Money…gorgeous as always, and in my top 20!
4. Oreo Double Stuff cookies, love ‘em or hate ‘em? Kind of in the middle (no pun intended). I tend to prefer home made cookies. I make really good ones, inclluding peanut butter, various chocolate chip variations, and a really yummy lemongrass-ginger cookie to die for…mmm, cravings…
5. What is your current favorite lip balm? Balea’s Bergamot. It is a brand here at Shopper’s Drug Mart that is ridiculously cheap and very excellent quality.
6. Do you have any “spring rituals”? Cleaning my closet, for sure. House cleaning, and making a list of things to do in the house that will carry over to next year

7. What’s your favorite wild animal? Hmmm, I love marmosets, but if we are talking about North American animals, I would have to say chipmunks. The wee squees are my favourite.

However, I would have to say mine is All I Want to do is Make Love to You, by Heart…repulsive lyrics, and a really dumb song to put out in the peak of the AIDS years in the early 90s. And they were such a cool band in the 70s…

I agree about home made cookies! There are very few “boxed” cookies I like. For instance I cannot stand Chip Ahoy I think they are horrible.

3. What’s on your nails? Lots. I did cherry blossom nail art and it’s OK. My first nail art but I’ve invested in some stuff and need a dotting tool. Hurrah.

I absolutely loathe the Grateful Dead. Growing up in Berkeley you are either a huge fan or you hate them, there is no in-between, lol!

1. How has your week been so far? Much, *much* better then how last week started out, thank God.
2.Do you consider yourself to be technically savvy? Yeah, more so than the average person I think.
3. What’s on your nails? Maybelline… “Cutie Pink” I believe is the name. I’d describe it as the perfect “Barbie” pink and put it on just for that reason – makes me feel all girly inside! :0)
4. Oreo Double Stuff cookies, love ‘em or hate ‘em? LOVE them. O-M-F-G!!! Which is exactly why I *never* buy them… too hard to have just one! (I, too, could get by with throwing away the cookie part and just eating the stuffing).
5. What is your current favorite lip balm? Carmex is and always be my fav for it’s intense ability to repair the ‘chappiest’ of lips. Right now I really like Blistex “Silk and Shine” for when my lips aren’t cracked like the desert… awesome stuff.
6. Do you have any “spring rituals”? Yes. I like to reorganize and rearrange stuff in my room, the house, the barn, etc. Right now I’m working on overhaulin’ my office at work. :0)
7. What’s your favorite wild animal? Hmmmm… that’s a tough one. I have to pick just one??? :0) Well, I guess I don’t have a specific favorite but I think since I’m a horse lover I’d have to say wild horses.

I think it’s somewhat discouraging for you to be publicly making fun of the feedback that your receive. Granted, it wasn’t phrased in the most polite way, but you did ask for tips and someone gave their honest opinion. It is only fair for you to think about it, and either decide to implement it or not – but not to berate that person.
I really do enjoy this blog and your swatches a lot, but seeing the way you make fun of criticism publicly here and on Twitter gives me pause. It would make me think twice before giving feedback; even though I’m doing it now, I am afraid you might take this the wrong way.

I wasn’t making fun of that person I think the first part of their comment was totally fine. But when someone says something like the last part it’s adding zero value to the survey. They are only saying it to make me feel bad and that’s unnecessary. I mean there are over 75 million blogs and they are saying that only me and one other blogger (who apparently I am copying) are doing weekly polls? I have no problem with 99% of the other comments even negative ones because they were actually constructive, but this one was ignorant. Constructive criticism is one thing but saying things just to be mean bothers me and I will call people out on it.
Having said that, I can see your point and get where you are coming from. Sorry you took it like that, I guess it’s hard sometimes to convey thoughts across websites!

1. How has your week been so far? Eh, could be better. I am dealing with the building dept now that I finally have my house and it turns out the things I want to do need special permission from zoning and building. I might have to change my renovation plans.

10. What’s your least favorite song? Hmmm, there are a lot of things that I dislike. The only thing I can think of is that I will change the radio station when any Pearl Jam song comes on because I heard them WAY too much in high school.

–> Meh, like always. But now I have plenty of goodies to look forward to buying online at the end of the month.

–> Milani 3D Holographic HD (my KMart had a display of them sitting out yesterday so that was a HUGE surprise for me)

–> Love, love, love! But I have to eat the whole cookie, inside and cookies, instead of licking the inside. The inside by itself just doesn’t taste that great to me.

–> None. I don’t really use that much, instead I prefer to use moisturizing lipstick.

–> Separating the ‘winter’ stuff from the ‘summer’ stuff, and that includes shoes and nail polish colors. I do this twice a year actually.

–> I can’t really decide. There’s field mice and seals and sea lions, deer, lions, etc. There’s a whole ton of wild animals that I love so I’d have to say the cutest looking one there is.

–> Two. Omaha, and Urbandale (a suburb in Des Moines, IA) before moving to my little town of Ottumwa.

–> My sister used to have a cat that she never took care of. So it was basically my job to take care of my sister’s cat since she was never around to do it herself. Ahem, I’m rambling. Sorry. I don’t have a cat, and the one my sister used to have, I never collected whiskers. Maybe I should start doing that once I get a cat.

Correction to my nails, I was wearing China Glaze “Shower Together” good color, kind of a weird name.
If you like the idea of running Kelly, you could start by run/walking. I swam all through high school and I HATED running, because I grew up in Florida where I thought it was too hot to run most of the time. I made myself start running in college in the evenings to stay in shape and now I really enjoy it. I started with brisk walking, then added 5 minutes of running, then ten, etc. I eventually was running the whole time.

Last week our darling dog who had recently had surgery got attacked by 2 staffy bull terriers (he’s recovering well now). Lastnight we had an earthquake measuring nearly 4 on the richter scale – the biggest I had experienced. Hoping for less excitement for the weekend.
