2. What is something a lot of people might not know about you? I cannot stand it when things touch on my dinner plate! If something is juicy and is running, I will put napkins on the plate to separate it all and sop it up.

6. If you could quit your job/school right now and do what you loved for a living, what would you be doing? I am a Gemini so I am all over the map. It would be one of these though: Blogging/writing, baking/decorating cupcakes or working with animals.

10. Do you watch the series Breaking Bad on AMC? Yes, I’ve watched since episode 1, and it’s hands down one of the best written shows on TV. It’s as good as anything on HBO or Showtime.

I do the same thing as you with the earrings, I just realized when you said that! Interesting. Maybe in spring/summer we feel more free and in winter it’s too cold to have cold earrings slapping up against the neck? Plus I wear a lot of scarves when it’s cold so too much earrings and scarf can be distracting.

1. How has your week been so far? Pretty good. I have finished courses, and things are looking good for getting through my marking and admin work for April. That way, I can start writing papers and a book in May (neuroanatomy for clinical psychologists…not my great sci fi novel…:))
2. What is something a lot of people might not know about you? I am not too afraid to share, but I one thing not many people may know is that I won a radio contest several years ago by faking an orgasm, a la When Harry Met Sally.

Mentally tell myself to wait, then vent to someone afterward, or empty chair the situation (the offender is mentally imaged in an empty chair in a quiet room, then you scream anything you want at the chair).

I think you would like Breaking Bad but you must see it from season 1. It’s about a high school chemistry teacher who starts cooking Meth to get money for his family (don’t wanna give away too many details). Bryan Cranston stars in it (the dad from Malcolm in the Middle) and has won two Emmy’s for the role. It’s really dark, humorous and has fabulous writing!

2. What is something a lot of people might not know about you? I’m a super-geek. I look pretty normal (and even quite girly, with my makeup/nail polish obsession) but I’m a huge nerd at heart. Hence being in a PhD program in an obscure field.

1. How has your week been so far? Rough. I’ll say that much. It’s only going to go up from here though, I have faith!
2. What is something a lot of people might not know about you? Since it was just Easter… they did a study and found out that the vast majority of people eat the ears off a chocolate easter bunny first. I, on the otherhand, would bite off the tail first, if it has one! :0)

I think screen writing would be so awesome. I took a class in college on it where we actually wrote a screen play then the actors from the drama club acted it out and we video-taped it. It was really cool seeing my words come to life!

1. How has your week been so far?
It didn’t have a great start. I’m cat-sitting for my big brother and managed to fall down his stairs about an hour before he left. Embarrassing and painful (but no lasting damage).

That I actually hate the tattoo I had done when I was nineteen, but I can’t afford to get it removed (but I’m saving, er, sort of, when there’s no nail polish in sight).

Boots No7 Beanie (for the first time, only to discover it looks like YDKJ) and Marks and Spencer Baby Blue on my tootsies. I hate pastels on my fingernails, but think they look great on toes. Is that weird?

Back to your comment about Breaking Bad – it is a great show. I think when you try to explain it to people it can be off putting but you get to know Walt you learn he’s just trying to make good decisions. I just love their baby. She is the sweetest little thing. She reminds me why he does the crazy things he does.

Exactly you’re like “Oh it’s about a teacher who makes Meth” but really it’s not. He’s so good in that role and the storyline is unpredictable and fascinating. I love how it’s all crossing over into Mexico because now with all the crazy border killings, it’s really timely. I love Jesse on it also, he’s really good.

Ugh – beyond crazy. A pipe leaked in the guest room downstairs and the carpet got all moldy, so we’re doing major cleanup/repairs. Plus work is NUTS.

Silvery, steel-colored ones. I have a number of ear piercings and tend to stick to surgical captive ball rings in most of them (except a bar through my industrial) most of the time, because they are worry free.

1. How has your week been so far?
The picture of depressing. After a week of 70s and 80s, the temperature has dropped down to the 40s again! Add rain, thunderstorms and overcast and it’s all around depressing.
2. What is something a lot of people might not know about you?
I had a seriously bad case of dinosaur phobia when I was little; seriously, my dad had to carry me through 90% of the Denver Museum so I could hide my eyes in my dad’s shoulder. I was pretty traumatized by Jurassic Park when I was 4. To this day I can’t watch a movie with dinosaurs in it. Dragons are okay, dinosaurs are not.
3. What’s on your nails?
OPI Dim Sum Plum that has a serious case of tipwear after four days.
4. What kind of earrings are your favorite (dangly, studs, etc.)?
It really depends on how I feel or what my ears are like. Most times I switch between the two. I rarely wear anything in my second holes anymore. My ears get really, really sensitive and really red when I do. It’s most befuddling.
5. What is your favorite type of nail polish finish?
Creme!!!
6. If you could quit your job/school right now and do what you loved for a living, what would you be doing?
Interior Design.
7. Milkshakes: Vanilla, chocolate or strawberry?
Vanilla and strawberry! I used to get vanilla or strawberry shakes at Fuddrucker’s! They are soooooooo good. I still haven’t found a restaurant that can trump or are even equal their shakes. I haven’t gone to Fudd’s in awhile.
8. Who are your favorite YouTube makeup people?
Misschievous, Pixiwoo, MakeupbyTiffanyD, julieg713 (I can’t stand her going ‘um’ every other word, but her ideas are good). I must say I giggle and internally scream in happiness when the first two upload anything!
9. When you want to scream and pull your hair out, but it’s not appropriate, what’s your method of calming down?
I get super cranky and sarcastic, personally.Or I cry. Or pace. Or jump up and down. I am awful at staying level headed. I’m also really bad at relaxing.
