5. Do you eat seafood? No, none of any kind (and yes that includes canned tuna, aka wet cat food). What’s funny is I come from a family of HUGE seafood lovers. I even have abalone divers in the family, but I find it all repulsive.
6. Ever taken a photography class? No but I am going to pretty soon. I desperately need some hands on training for my DSLR, it’s so complicated!
7. What was your least favorite subject in school? Math.
8. What was your favorite subject in school? Does cutting class and going home to sleep count? No? Ok then Creative Writing.

6. Ever taken a photography class? I started one not long ago but couldn’t finish because I didn’t have the time to attend the classes. Will take another one soon though.
7. What was your least favorite subject in school? Argh math!
8. What was your favorite subject in school? Weirdly, Ancient Greek (classical high school). We had the coolest professor.
9. Do you wear scarves? Yes, I can’t imagine my wardrobe without them! Silk, pashmina, they are so practical, beautiful and versatile!
10. Have you ever used LUSH Lemony Flutter? Was it good? Nope, never used it. But with I find that with Lush it’s always 50/50- half the people swear by their product and half can’t stand it.
I love Lemony Flutter. It’s definitely intense but it sure does the job. I’ll include a sample of it in our swap package so you can try it out.

I bought it a couple of months ago and I love it! The smell is pretty nasty though, I think it smells like tobacco, it’s not very “lemony”. But it makes my cuticles super soft.

-Yes, I have a tub of it. It was…okay. I really like the texture of it, but I’m not sure how much of an effect it actually has on my nails. I think that SolarOil or Burt’s Bees lemon cuticle butter are more effective. Plus, Lemony Flutter smells EXACTLY LIKE PEZ. Don’t believe me? SMELL SOME!

1. How has your week been so far? Pretty good…classes will be over soon, and I am looking forward to getting marking done, then starting some new research.

3. What’s on the nails? RBL Bikini Bottom – 4 coats to make it more opaque, but it still has this weird ghostly quality to it.

6. Ever taken a photography class? Not really. I had to develop pictures of synapses in the brains of rats, and learned how to do old fashioned photography with chemicals. Not sure if I remember any of it now.
7. What was your least favorite subject in school? Art…I like being creative, but hated being forced to do dumb projects by failed artists. I distinctly remember one project where we had to colour in Smurf cut outs in crayon for a grade 9 art class. I dropped art after that year.

9. Do you wear scarves? Yes, and like you, am addicted to them. I think we are attracted to colour, so nailpolish and scarves are an expression of that tendency. There is a store on campus that sells beautiful scarves and pashminas, 2 for $19.99, for really good quality products. I end up buying a couple a month

10. Have you ever used LUSH Lemony Flutter? Was it good? No, I haven’t tried it. I went through a LUSH phase a few years ago, and am not into them at the moment. I am using a lot of Burt’s Bees and Body Shop hand creams right now.

1. How has your week been so far? Pretty good, its my first week of Spring quarter and usually I’m stressed the eff out the 1st week of school but I got all the classes I wanted and have friends in classes and I’m unusually happy and relaxed for a 1st week of school.
2. What’s your favorite mindless distraction? Either watching tv, going on the internet, listening to a song on repeat, or reading a good book.
3. What’s on the nails? OPI Holiday Glow, usually I’m a god with the seasons kinda girl and should be wearing pastels but the past 3 weeks I’ve been a mysterious type mood and this weather calls for dark colors on top of that so I have yet to wear a Spring color on my nails since Spring started lol

5. Do you eat seafood? Not usually or very often. Sometimes I eat canned tuna or have salmon or halibut but probably only once every 3 weeks or so.

A few months ago I went to Lush with the intent to buy it (even though I don;t feel like I really need it since my cuticles have never really been bad or dry) but it was too expensive so I got a sample instead.. I think I’ve used it like twice though cause I dont really need and and don’t ever remember to use it. The smell is good at first to me but it gets sickening after a few mins.. it’s weird.

No, Lush isn’t what it used to be….I can still remember when they started business as Cosmetics to Go at 29 and a half High Street, Poole, making potions in a tiny kitchen. There was an acrimonious buy/sell out and they became Lush. I think they have too big now and products have become too gimmicky. Also, when you live in UK you get a bit blase about brands right on your doorstep. Sorry, didn’t mean to write so much there. A simple ‘No’ would have done.

The sun is out and warm, so fabulous!
2. What’s your favorite mindless distraction?
TV, movies or doodling. I’m a compulsive doodler; I’m always doodling. I drew a 5-minute Tabs as the Mad Hatter on a pink Post-It note for the MBB contest…until I remembered Linux hates the scanner option on my printer and my brother took the ONLY digital camera until Friday. I had a 5-minute Chase (also on a pink Post-it) but I don’t know what happened to it or I’d e-mail you a picture of it! I’ll have to draw another one for you.
3. What’s on the nails?
Orly Cashmere Cardigan on tips and I believe ChG’s Bermuda Breakaway on the toes. I now it’s dark blue, China Glaze and from that blue collection but I can’t remember if it’s Calypso Blue or Bermuda Breakaway. XD
4. Have you ever seen a UFO?
No, not unless you count Zena my dog. She is the strangest thing ever.
5. Do you eat seafood?
NO. I refuse to eat anything that looks like the actual animal (chicken breasts are okay, seeing the whole chicken–no). I remember going to a Christmas party with my mom’s side of the family and they had a freshly caught fish, cooked and sliced in half…eyeballs intact. Let me just say I avoided that food table like the plague.

Math. I’m abysmal at it.

I have a few but I can never figure out how to wear them fashionably. My two winter scarves are a godsend for winter here. It’s FREEZING.

No. I avoid LUSH because the counters are always so smelly. I’m extremely sensitive to scent. 99% of my products are unscented as I’m just too sensitive to it. The only scented things I have is my shampoo and conditioner! My Jurlique smells like safflower and clay because it has both. It’s not horrible but it can make my migraines worse when I have one!
1. How has your week been so far? Well, after Monday it was supposed to be smooth sailing, but we’re into week 3 (or is it 4?) of suck. Sorry, I can’t think of a more polite way to put it.

3. What’s on the nails? I just took off Rimmel Night Before, which I adored way more than I ever thought I would. The shimmer is almost gold and it glows. I also did one accent nail with Pure Ice Cheatin’ because glitter is a pain to take off. I got lots of compliments. Tomorrow it will be Pure Ice Splash because it’s a baby blue that is so good with my skin tones in way most of the trendy blue/mint green shades are not.

10. Have you ever used LUSH Lemony Flutter? Was it good? yes. yes. As I wrote in a previous post, the lemony smell of it is not so appealing to me (though it’s made from natural lemon extracts), but my husband likes it and the stuff works really well. I use it nightly on hands & feed. It has improved my cuticles tremendously. I love it and will repurchase.

– it was supposed to be a short one with Friday off but it looks like I’ll have to work

3. What’s on the nails? fingers – Nubar gem, toes – french pedi with some sheer iridescent pink and OPI siberian nights on the tips
4. Have you ever seen a UFO? DH and I saw something very strange once but I’m sure there’s a logical explanation that I just don’t know about
5. Do you eat seafood? love snow crab and will eat some fish – no on clams, squid, shrimp, etc.

Insanely busy. Even though next week will be bad too, I’m looking forward to leaving this one behind!

Sewing! I get really into it and the hours just slip away.

Chemistry. I was sooo bad at it in 9th grade that I still (8 years later) have nightmares about the exams.

It’s a toss up between English or art. I like creative things.

Often! Best accessory ever.

No, but I have stared at various LUSH products longingly while waiting in airports before.
1.) How has your week been so far?
– Surprisingly awful. I’m off for Spring Break… but my husband came down with some kind of awful cold on my first day off. Poor thing – but, oh, such a baby! (A word to the wise: If you aren’t married yet, a good reason to seriously consider staying single is how badly/ridiculously men behave when they’re sick!) : – )

– Leafing through fashion, art & gossip magazines, preferably in a warm, scented bath!

– Just finishing out a 4-day CHINA GLAZE “Red Stallion” mani & trying to decide what color to put on next.

– Nope. Not even close.
5.) Do you eat seafood?
– Well, I love shrimp, lobster & white fish like cod. Last year I read David Foster Wallace’s essay, Consider the Lobster, and now I just can’t eat it any more (even when I really want to)! Plus I just can’t face eating anything squiggly- looking (squid, octopus, etc,).

– Yes, I loved it!
7.) What was your least favorite subject in school?
– Math! I’ve never worked harder or longer on a subject only to end up with so little understanding & success at it! That particular section of brain cells just never matured (or even exist) inside my thick head, I guess.

– History, English Lit. & Composition, Biology, Art, Comparative Cultures. In college, Art History! (..Man, I loved school! I really miss being a student!)
9.) Do you wear scarves?
– Not any more. When I lived in New York I loved wearing soft sweaters, scarves, etc. But it’s too warm to wear them here in L.A. except from around Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day (IF we’re lucky & it gets cold enough – which it often doesn’t).
10.) Have you ever used LUSH Lemony Flutter? Was it good?
– Never have; my skin breaks out in hives if I use anything scented. Besides, I don’t much like lemon anyway.

Busy busy…Bought my dog home (used to be at my parent’s house), so lotsa cleaning, cuddling, cleaning, walks and cleaning..haa

TV…supernatural, House, CSI..etc

Naked. Going to paint my nails during lunch. We have this girl bonding session in office every once a week to do our nails and we share our Konad plates

Nope. But my co-worker did. He said it was round and the bottom of the thing looks like jelly fish with lot of colourful lights

-Slow! I am on holiday next week so justbeen marking time. Oh and it’s rained non-stop all week so been really miserable.

- No. Just the thought of Lush makes my flesh crawl. It doesn’t play nicely with my skin.
