Stopping to Smell the Roses
Despite how hyperactive Chewy can be, he does sometimes stop to smell the Roses. Or weeds as the case may be.

Hallo!
Estee Lauder’s new collection for summer 2010 is called Bronze Goddess. They have included two new nail colors in this collection, which I have for you today.
These are the first Estee Lauder nail polishes I have ever tried. I’m not sure why, I guess normally their color don’t appeal to me. However these ones were not to be missed…
I kind of loved the bottle shape, even though it does look retro. But it looks retro in a very 1950′s way. It’s like an ice cube with thick heavy glass surrounding the polish.
The formula on these was fantastic as one would hope after spending $22.00 on a bottle. Read on!
Wild Orchid is a fuchsia pink with a heavy blue shimmer flash to it. The bright pink with blue flash is pretty popular right now, and I can see why, it’s very pretty. Having said that though, this wasn’t my favorite one of them. This color was very sheer. I used three coats here and you can still see the VNL. Four would have been better, but I just can’t do it. So unless you like to pile it on or you like sheers, I would says this might not be your best bet.
We call Squirt Gimpy Girl sometimes. You see she has a very bent right front arm that doesn’t touch the ground. We don’t know if she was born that way or it happened when she was very young (we adopted her around 3 months old). We did take her to a Vet to see if it hurt her or if they could help, but the Vet said as long as she was running and jumping like a normal cat, it was probably fine. Which she was. So this is her natural stance, and it hasn’t slowed her down in the 6 years we have had her!
Aloha!
Milani has some new mechanical eye liners out that are glittery and sparkly. They come in 6 different colors, and I’ve got five of them to show you below.
These liners come in a mechanical pencil type of packaging, which makes it pretty easy to use. The tip is nicely pointed and the other end of the pencil holds a nice little sponge for smudging. I have to say personally though, I have never really used those smudging sponges that come with eye liners, I prefer a nice makeup brush for that.
