Milani Liquif’Eye Metallic Eye Liner Swatches & Review

Another Milani review! This time I’m talkin’ about their new Liquif-Eye Metallic Eye Liner pencils.
These were really creamy and lovely. Super opaque and soft. They claim to have have the feel and look of a liquid liner, but I didn’t really experience that personally. But they still rock!

As I mentioned above, these are soft, very easy to work with and great for smudging or blending out.
L to R: Black, Brown, Gold, Silver
The swatch above is just one swipe of the liner and as you can see, they are pretty saturated. The gold and silver in particular are very vivid and metallic looking.The Brown is a dark chocolate brown and the Black is a solid dark black.
I’m not so sure I would call the Black and Brown “metallic” per se as I didn’t notice much of a metallic effect with them.
The other day I wore Black and it didn’t transfer or smudge all day long (after 12 hours of wear). One thing I did notice though is when I put it on my upper waterline, it made my eyes very watery, so I wouldn’t recommend it for that.
I would say these are pretty comparable to the L’Oreal HIP High Intensity Pigments Chrome Eyeliners. I have all of those and the texture and application were basically the same. Only these are almost 50% less (those are $10.00)!
There is one more color, which is called Aqua that they carry in this line. It’s a very vivid aqua blue and looks pretty amazing.

I have today off of work and plan on doing a nice lunch and some shopping with a dear old friend. Hmm I wonder if the new Sephora by OPI colors for summer will be out in stores yet?

Happy Friday! I am a big fan of eyeliner and I like these a lot. I have a gold that is my favorite and it’s actually from Kohls…..yup Kohls…they have a great eyeliner selection. Also, I think you would really luv the eyeliner from Laura Mercier if you havent tried them already, the best is called Black Turquoise.
I really like Milani colors. Right now, I’m wearing eyeshadows from one of their quads which I got for less than $2 at CVS. I’ve been reading on other blogs that the summer collection from Sephora OPI is out but maybe it’s out in stores because they still aren’t available online
How do these compare to Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners?

They were pretty similar. The only UD one I have that is close in color to these is Zero. I would say Zero is a little more black, but the formula is pretty much the same.
I will go a get the brown, silver and the aqua today! Love the fact that they don’t transfer or smudge. Was removal difficult?

Nope removal was the same as any eyeliner.
This weekend I am moving stuff back into the two rooms where the floors were refinished (I have gleaming hardwood!!), going to the casino and seeing Alice in Wonderland in 3D.
I have the same hopes for the new Sephora polishes. LOVE!
I keep forgetting to pick up the Gold and Silver to try. I’m also curious how the black compares to my favorite UD Zero. Lovely swatches

This is another wonderful find. I will look out for these when they have a BOGO. Really like the gold and silver. When has black and brown become metallic? Crazy!

These seem to be pretty good value. I prefer a more blackish-brown to match my mascara, and would have been interested in a metallic eyeliner pencil that colour. Good rich, creamy looking gold and the silver is very cute.
