1. How has your week been so far? It’s been ok, nothing too horrific or too great so far.
2. Would you rather be stuck with -10 degree weather and snow the rest of your life or sun and 95 degrees? I am a sun bunny (with SPF) for sure. Give me hot weather any day of the week over cold!
3. What’s on your nails? Rococo Metal Jacket (swatches coming soon!)
4. How far do you commute to get to work/school? I commute 1 hour and 25 minutes each way to get to work. Pay is much better in the area where I work, but housing is way cheaper where I live. Plus I grew up where I live now, and don’t like the area where I work.
5. What kind of bag do you carry on a daily basis (purse, large tote, backpack, etc.)? I have been carrying leather totes around for a quite a few years, but am realizing that…wait for it…I am OLD! I have been having major shoulder neck issues the last year and realized that carrying around a 15 pound Michael Kors bag isn’t helping. Plus I carry everything on earth with me: Kindle, iPhone, small makeup case, camera, wallet, sunglasses, keys, work badge, notebook, mint, gum, etc. It’s really quite ridiculous. So now I am on the hunt for a really fashionable, reasonably priced lightweight tote bag!
6. Are you crafty? What kinds of crafts do you do? I’m not that crafty actually. I have tried jewelry making and stuff like that but I always lose interest.
7. What is the best thing you can cook? I make a MEAN lasagna! I make it every year for N___. on his birthday since it’s his favorite food.
8. Are you good at math? Heeeeellllllll no. Me and math go together like peanut butter and ranch dressing. I was always much better at English, and I still get shivers when I think of the last math class I ever took which was Statistics in college. Yes even though I got a degree in English, they forced me to take that! I never thought I would use it but ironically, it would really come in handy in using Google Analytics on this blog if I remembered any of it!
9. Do you take risks when it comes to your haircut or color? Yes, I am a big risk taker with both cut and color. Basically since age 13 I have been coloring it. It’s been every shade of blond under the sun plus many shades of red and burgundy. Also deep chocolate brown. The worst was when I dyed the tips of my blond hair black, so I looked like the singer of Berlin.
I have been cutting it short and growing it out consistently for about 15 years also. What can I say, I’m a Gemini and I get bored really fast!
10. Ever heard of Sugarpill cosmetics? Not until this week when all the sudden it seemed like everyone on Twitter was getting samples in from them and blogging about them. So weird how that happens! But anyway, they look pretty cool!

Hallo mates!
Nicole by OPI has some new colors out for spring that I recently found at Walmart. They were on a stand that said “Walmart exclusives” so I’m not sure if these are only available there or what.
I have always had really great luck with the formula on these babies. They are super duper creamy and smooth, and usually pretty opaque in two coats. Peep ‘em!
Wink Of Twink is a silver with holo glitter. I would say this is a medium holo, meaning not as holographic as say the China Glaze OMG collection, but more holographic than some others I have seen. This was three coats.
Here we are on Monday, yet again, sigh.
Color Club has a new collection called Rebel Debutante for spring 2010. The flyer I got with these says “Rebellious shades that go from classic to trendy”. I’m not so sure I totally agree with the statement that these are rebellious shades. I think this collection is fairly tame actually. There are a few standout colors here, but I didn’t feel like anything totally original was created in this collection.
The formula was pretty good on these, if a but thick. A couple were harder than others to apply and I’ll note those ones below.
Check them out below!
Who Are You Wearing? is a pale white/grey. I wound up liking this more than most of the others for some unexplained reason. It’s just a very pretty light color, but isn’t boring. I think I like the grey in it. This was on the sheer side so was three coats.
