Milani 3D Holographic Nail Lacquer Swatches & Review
Hey there!
I am off to a late start this morning. Not feeling that great, bad headache, ugh. But enough about me, here is something fun for your Friday!
Milani has recently come out with a much talked about (at least on Twitter) holographic nail collection. I looked for these all over the place and couldn’t find them. Finally a couple weekends ago I made a whole day out of going to various drugstores and came across them at CVS, yay!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the bottles are ugly. They are just so dated looking, I wish they would change the shape and caps (and their logo while they’re at it). But remember grasshopper, sometimes you must look past the ugliness to see the beauty inside. 
The formula on these was great, no issues whatsoever. These were all three coats for good measure. They are all pretty holographic, so no worries about it being false advertising here! They are also super smooth to the touch, no gritty glitter feel at all. Check them out!
HD
HD is a silver holo. This is on the sheer side of silver, so I used three thicker coats and possibly could have used another.
Cyberspace
Cyberspace is a light blue holo. I really like this one because of the beautiful blue color.
Hi-Tech
Hi-Tech is a yellow-green holo. I love this color it’s so perfect for spring!
Hi-Res
Hi-Res is a grape purple holo. I liked this one, but didn’t love it I wanted the purple to be deeper than it was, it felt a little thin to me.
3D
3D is a warm gold holo. This is pretty, but not my kind of gold because it’s too warm.
Digital
Digital is a pink holo. This one is nice also, but not one of my favorites because the pink is kinda “meh” to me.
Overall I think this is a pretty decent collection. There are a few here I really like and a few others that are nice, but didn’t necessarily work for me personally. I think everyone can find something here though!
These were found at my local CVS and I paid $4.99 for each of them.

I love them all, but I didnt pick up 3D or HD. Can’t wait to get them on! They look fab on you!

They are so on my lemming, ugly bottle or not.
The green & blue are my favorites. Don’t love ‘em enough to run out & buy, though. I just don’t end up wearing holos that much. How did they remove?

They remove like a regular polish super easy!
I completely agree with you about the bottle. I really can’t stand it…really. I’m on the fence about these. I know they’re “holo” but they just look more like glitter to me. I’m not against glitter though, so that’s probably a good enough reason to get them huh? haha!
Hi-Tech is the only one that interests me.

I have hi-res, 3-D, and Digital…I haven’t worn digital yet, but I like Hi-Res and and 3D.
And you’re absolutely correct about hi-res. It would have been a much better color if the purple was richer and darker.
But I like that they are easy take off…no soaking in acetone. ^_^

Silver and blue appeal to me. I agree with you about the dated bottles. I wanted to like the pink, but you are right, it’s just meh. Are Milani polishes big 3 free? How do these holographics compare to Sally Hansen nail prisms? Thanks.

Love them. Looked for ages and finally found them in the CVS that time (and I) forgot. I’m wearing Hi-Res right now and I really like that it looks like just a normal light lavender indoors.

Ooh, I love them all! And they’re Milani, which means they’re cheap! Cyberspace is definitely my favorite, but I love Hi-Res and Digital too ^_^

I really love HD, but I was wanting Color Club Worth the Risque. Would you say that they could be dupes? How do they compare to each other? I do love High Tech!!! These are at CVS now, I am going to go get High Tech after work!
