Yo!
Ok so I promised you a post about all the BB Couture green lacquers, so here it is.
I have twelve of their green colors and I think that’s all of them (except Tortuga Island). They are all truly different as you will see from the pics. I can’t think of another company that has done so many cool green polishes, and those who love green and haven’t tried their colors yet are seriously missing out! True green fanatics will love these! Oh and International peeps, you CAN get these, just email Kim at Overall Beauty (info below) and she can hook you up!
I have reviewed each of these colors already in the collections they came out with so these aren’t full reviews here. If you want to read the full reviews, you can find them under my “Categories” tab then under “BB Couture”.
Disclaimer: You will notice that some of these were taken well over a year ago when I didn’t know WTF I was doing in terms of taking pics. Please forgive the horrificness of those old pictures, they know not what they look like.
You will also notice my nails are all over the place in terms of length. I try to grow them a little longer from time to time, but then I cannot stand them and hack them off! Generally if they are more than 1/4″ past my fingertip, I cannot deal.
So are you ready to be green with envy? (ok barf, puke)
This is from the Disco Collection and it’s a shimmery leaf green.
Also from the Disco Collection, it’s a dark forest green with light green glitter.
This is from the Vampy Varnish Collection and it’s a medium forest green with light blue flake glitter.
This is from the Vampy Vanrish Collection and it’s an avocado green with green, gold and black micro-glitter.
This is from one of their collections for men. It’s a deep olive green shimmer, and one of my very fav greens ever!
This is a frosty, shimmery pale green.
This is from another of their collections for men. It’s almost a deep blue/sea green duochrome. Gorgeous.
This is another fabulous medium olive green with lots of gold and pink shimmer.
Green Goblin is a dark forest green creme that isn’t so dark it looks black, which is great!
This is one of the very first mint greens I owned. They were on this mint bandwagon before a lot of other companies, and I think this is one of the best mints out there.
Frosty Meadow is a sheer-ish green jelly with lots of shimmer. Pukey pic.
Poison Ivy is the first BB green I got. This is a great vivid grass green creme (horrible pic though!)
You can find these colors on Overall Beauty here and they retail for $9.00 each.

No Dark Knight?..I never thought I would love a green, but I wore it for a whole week…i hardly ever wear any color for that long..! And I know what you mean about the nail thing. I let them grow a bit, then I do get tired of them and trim ‘em down..

Thanks so much for the swatches. It’s perfect timing for me, because today I’m wearing Revlon Street Wear in Toad (it’s one of my favorite polishes ever) & I’ve been looking for a dupe of it for a long time. It looks like Toad falls somewhere between Grenade & Iced Olive, so I’ll have to get those soon.
Thanks again for the great swatches and the awesome blog.

I think pipe bender looks like scrangie in reverse a green beetle wing with purple shimmer instead of a purple beetle wing with green shimmer. I don’t know what it is but your swatches are just the best. Thank you

Wow, I had no idea! What an amazing assortment of greens!! I just got my first BB Couture (Hands of Hope, so I have the missing green here, Tortuga Island) and knew I would be getting more. But now I’m a little worried about my credit cards, if they have this much wonderful green, what other wonderful colors will I be needing from them!! Thanks for compiling these swatches, they are all fab.

Hi Kelly:
Love those greens and all on one page! I have some of these already from your collection. I love Saturday Night Fever with the green glitter, and Kelly’s Green just because it’s a jelly type green, very unique, along with Laguna Lagoon, that mint green, very pretty. Grenade, Poison Ivy, another of my favorites. Venom, and Green Goblin; some of these I purchased separately from BB Couture when I found these from your web site and didn’t even know they had a men’s collection.
It’s hard to say which one of the greens I love best, so I am not going to judge and say it. Because each has it own personal quality in the color itself. Thank you for doing this. The swatches are so lovely and you make the polishes sell with your beautiful nails.
Please stop apologizing for the pictures, length of your nails and your use of your new camera, LOL These swatches are beautiful and I love you web blog. It’s something I look forward to each and every day you publish it. Your so amazing and so warm heart-ed, I love how you really care about your fans. You work so hard on this, I can see the effort it must take you to post these pictures and write beautiful stories about the colors of your nails. You have a real gift.

Thank you so much for those swatches. Your swatches always represent what the colors actually look like. I bought all of these yesterday with some of them a little bit iffy because I could not see accurate swatches of them. Now I am confident that I will love every single one of them!!!!
