SpaRitual Believe Collection for Spring 2010 Swatches and Review

Buenas dias!

More spring colors, whoo hoo! Can you feel the warmth in the air? Because I sure can’t…

Anyhoo, SpaRitual has a new spring 2010 collection called Believe, and I’ve got a few from them to share with you on this very fine day.

The formula on these was pretty good, though some were a wee bit thin, and needed three thickish coats for opacity.

There are six colors in the collection, and they each come with their own little charm wrapped around the bottle neck. The mantras on the charms say I Can, Hope, Believe, Love, Faith and Wish. Very cute!

Hope Springs Eternal

Hope Springs Eternal is a frosted, shimmery hot pink. This absolutely SCREAMS 1984 to me, but somehow, I still like it. The application on this one was really nice and it looked so good on me. But when I look at it, I imagine this is the kind of color that Madga from There’s Something About Mary would be wearing. Look below, she’s got a frosty pink on!  But I still like it. :)

I Believe In You

I Believe In You is a traffic cone orange creme. It’s very bright and not too yellow for my skin. This was on the thin side, so I needed three coats.

Yes, I Can

Yes, I Can is a grass green creme. This is bright, but definitely not neon or anything, and really pretty. This was also three coats.

The rest of the colors in this collection are:

Spread Your Wings – Pomegranate Creme

Shoot For The Stars – Purple Creme

I Am The Light – Lavender Creme

This collection launches in February, and the price will be $10.00 per bottle. You can find them on their website here. Remember, SpaRitual polishes are Vegan and big 3-free!

Great! Another spring collection that is bright and fun. I like this year’s springs so far.

Wow these are awesome! I’m definitely going to get the green one. On the fence about I Believe in You since there a gazillion orange cremes out there, and I’m not sure if it’s unique – what do you think?

Btw, I love the idea of a shimmery hot pink frost that isn’t brushstrokey – are the brush strokes obvious in real life?

    Fab swatches as usual! :)

      Hi Belle,

I am kinda with you about I Believe In You. Not that original.

Hardly any brush strokes on the pink, it was sooooo smooth and creamy!

Wow, there is something I never thought I would see from SpaRitual: neons! I mean, they’re so calm and low key… wow. But that pink is pretty sexy. I might need to get it! 😀

Love that green! The orange is actually a really nice color, also, though I generally dislike orange.

I LOVE the pink colour! I just cannot get into these muddy greens.

Thank you for the swatches. Yes, I Can looks amazing. But I’ve never tried this nail varnish before :(

Ooh, I love the Hope Springs Eternal! I think it might be worth $10 for me just to get that one color! (And I *never* say that about *any* other polish, so you know I have to be wowed by a color)

    O my God.
Hope Springs is horrible! Who wears colours like this? Perhaps if you are young and they don’t mean “boring office-worker to you who talks endlessly about her husband” – but that is just a naff colour!
On the other hand, I DO like the green.
Oh, what a letdown! The other colours should be better.

I don’t think Hope Springs Eternal is bad, I like it a lot. The names of these remind me of that one collection Misa came out with, last fall I believe, where the ad was really hmm well suggestive. Really lame names.

I don’t own any of this brand. I do like Yes, I Can. I’m a green lover so this is very pretty to me. Looks fantastic on you.
