Rescue Beauty Lounge Nail Polish Spring 2010 Swatches & Review
Morning all!
So it’s yet another dreary Monday morning here in the Bay, blech. How was your weekend?
Today I have Rescue Beauty Lounge’s new colors for spring 2010. These colors were inspired by the Proenza Schouler spring 2010 collection, which was all about the surfer vibe.
I cannot comment about the formula yet because these samples are not RBL’s actual formula.
Two of the colors have very subtle shimmer, so I posted two pics, one without flash and one with. Check them out!
Diddy Mow (without flash)
Diddy Mow is a gorgeous dusty putty green with very slight shimmer. I am in love with this color and do not own anything like it. No it’s not a dupe for anything else! Diddy Mow is an actual surf term for a harsh wipe-out. This was two coats.
Diddy Mow (with flash)
360 (without flash)
360 is a very pretty medium blue with very subtle shimmer. This one is also very unique compared to other blues I have. It borders on teal. This was two coats.

Bangin’
Bangin’ is a bright coral red creme. This is another very pretty color, but I didn’t love this one quite as much. It’s nice and all, but it’s another red creme, which I have a ton of already. This was two coats.
Overall I think that Diddy Mow and 360 are definitely worth owning. They are unique and gorgeous colors and while they are $18.00 a pop, the RBL formula is almost always just spot on and they do last! Remember, nail polish doesn’t disappear after using it a few times. I have only actually gone through a few entire bottles in my whole life!
This collection will be available in March or April and they will retail for $18.00 each.

Diddy mow is gorgeous! I would take that sample to a paint store to paint my house in it! I am going to have to treat myself to it.

That is such a good idea! My bedroom is painted a color very similar in fact but slightly darker.
360 is my fav of these, especially hearing all the buzz about turquoise/teal being the hot color of 2010!!
Diddy Mow is soo hot!

I don’t particularly think that I’ll be trying any of these. The first two (Diddy Mow and 360) are too muted for my skin, and I already own several colors similar to Bangin’. Plus I don’t feel like shelling out $18 for a polish I haven’t tried, only to be disappointed since no matter what brand I use, it doesn’t stay on long anyway.

Awesome swatches as always! I love Diddy Mow and 360. I know I’ll be getting those, but I agree with you about the red creme. There are too many out there already, and I wouldn’t pay that much for another one.

Um, they’re right on trend, but I’m afraid they’re simply not for me.
I must be reaching NP saturation….none of these are screaming to me. I agree with you, more reds is a tough sell. But that being said, I have RBL Cherry Love and it’s the best red creme I’ve ever had. I like Diddy Mow the best, but have Orbis Non Sufficit in my untried pile and think that will have to do.
I’m not fond of these polish names. I do like Diddy Mow. Nice swatches!
