Pier to Nowhere

At the Berkeley Marina, there is a really long pier you can walk out onto and fish off of. Then at the end there is a fence blocking off the rest of the pier, most of which is falling into the bay. Back in the late 1920′s when it was built, it was 3.5 miles long and extended WAY out into the bay. Now most has fallen away and you can only walk out about 3,000 feet.
