Do you guys remember when I posted that article about the mouse toy Chewbacca and Sammy are obsessed with? Well here is a pic of Chewy underneath our TV armoire reaching for that very mouse. This was about 3 years ago, and believe me, that mouse looks MUCH worse now.
Waaaaayyyy back about 8 years ago, I went to New Orleans for the first time. N___. and I drove down from his parents house in AL for a few days. This was before Katrina. We did a walking tour of the Garden District (in bazillion degree weather and humidity) and took this pic (on a hideously crappy camera) of Anne Rice’s house and limo.
Anne Rice started my fascination with the dirrrrrty south back when I first read Interview with the Vampire when I was 16. I could totally picture Lestat living in this house. Sadly, she no longer lives here, she packed up and left after Katrina to move to Los Angeles. Somehow I just do not picture her living there and liking it.
This is a picture of Sam I just came across from like 4 years ago. This was when he was still on the smallish size and not the 17 1/2 pound behemoth he is now. Apparently he was quite transfixed with watching ice skating. I think he wishes he was that graceful. Oh and please ignore the tacky-ass movie rack falling apart in the background, that was only temporary and we don’t have it anymore.
