1. How has your week been treating you so far? Oh kinda up and down, but I’m glad I’m not working this week!
2. If you celebrate Christmas and exchanged gifts, what was your favorite gift that you received? I love the Marc Ecko watch I got (even though I loathe Marc Ecko himself, I am a watch fanatic). It’s a stainless steel man’s watch with a big round face and major bling. I don’t like small watches, so this is perfect.
3. What’s on your nails? RBL in Bruised.
4. Any New Years Eve plans? I haven’t gone out on New Years Eve in about 8 years (I went to Reno then, and it was PACKED!) My standard New Years Eve now consists of me staying home with N___. (formally known as the hubbie) and eating delicious Italian stuff like salami, cheese, olives, pesto & sourdough bread and drinking Veuve Clicquot champagne. Oh and some kind of dessert of course. 
5. What was your favorite nail polish of 2009? I am gonna say something obvious here and pick Vampy Varnish. Not only because it’s named after my blog, but also because I SO wanted a black with olive green glitter!
6. Do you have any resolutions for 2010? Oh man I struggle with this because on the one hand I hate resolutions because no one ever really sticks with them, but on the other, a new year is a fresh start. So I will say my resolutions are A. to get healthier by actually exercising and eating better and B. Stop focusing on other people’s successes and comparing them to mine.
7. Are you a Mac or a PC? Mac all the way, but I use a PC at work. I’m computer ambidextrous. The only thing is, N___. works on computers, but doesn’t know much about Macs. So if my Mac goes bad, I gotta haul it to the store. BUT, it never, ever has because Macs rule! 
8. Do you watch 30 Rock? Yes and I think it’s the second best comedy ever next to (all hail) Seinfeld.
9. What personality trait do you have that you like about yourself? I must say I rather like my snarkiness, even though it might drive others crazy. My three closest friends are also snarky, and they totally get me more than any other friends I have.
10. What’s your favorite kind of chocolate, milk, dark or white? I used to be a white chocolate kinda gal, but now I find it’s too sweet in most cases. I love dark chocolate the most. Milk is just meh to me, unless it’s really good milk chocolate (no Hershey’s for me.)

It has been a week of ups and downs. Overall, not too bad though.

No plans so far, but I’m hoping to spend the evening with my boyfriend and friends at someone’s house. I’m definitely into the relaxing New Years parties these days.

This is really tough. I’ve loved so many. I just picked up Dorothy Who from China Glaze’s Wizard of Ooh Ahz Returns collection and I think it is my favorite of the year.

To battle the weight I’ve gained from working my very first desk job.

I’m a PC who secretly dreams of being a Mac.

I’ll still be sick with a cough that would make any bystanders call the CDC on me, so I’m going to stay home in my cozy PJs, fuzzy slippers, and watch movies.

China Glaze Techno. It makes nearly anything more fun, but it’s a giant PITA to remove.
6. Do you have any resolutions for 2010?
I get more done when I don’t call them resolutions, but this year I plan to get back to the gym more and take better care of my self.
7. Are you a Mac or a PC?
PC – I’m a gamer and built my own desktop computer to save money. It’s easy to upgrade hardware as needed without buying a whole new computer. I have nothing against MACs, but the idea of opening up such a compact piece of art to work on it scare the heck out of me.

No, but from what I hear about it I probably should.
9. What personality trait do you have that you like about yourself?
My wit.

I prefer milk when it’s just chocolate alone or not mixed. I like darks and whites when combined with other things – mint, caramel, another chocolate, etc.

1. How has your week been treating you so far? Okay, not bad, but not amazingly well either…our families have not been the most fun to be around, but hubby and I are weathering it just fine.
2. If you celebrate Christmas and exchanged gifts, what was your favorite gift that you received? Hubby (hereafter known as P.) bought me a Pilgrim necklace with three flowers, black, blue, and purple cloissone, with blue stones. It is lovely, and fits with my funky jewelry style.

6. Do you have any resolutions for 2010? Pray that my elderly father comes home from rehab. He’s living in a nursing home and we built him a new bathroom and upgraded the living room into his bedroom, so he would not have to walk upstairs. We also built him a wheelchair ramp outside for him to get in and outside of the house. Just waiting for him to come home for now.

1. How has your week been treating you so far?
Not bad! It’s a short one for me (only working Mon-Wed, so today is my Friday!) and PLUS my boss got me a new laptop for Christmas and I just got it today – the IT guy is setting it up as we speak!
2. If you celebrate Christmas and exchanged gifts, what was your favorite gift that you received?
Well, we sorta exchange gifts – mostly we just go shopping together and buy each other things, screw the wrapping and crap. But I guess my favorite gift is from my father-in-law – he got my husband and I a day at a local winery, including a gourmet lunch at their awesome restaurant, a private tour and tasting, and 2 bottles of wine. Although, my ‘rents got me some awesome clothes, and hubby got me my favorite fragrance (Burberry Brit).

Zoya Paris…. but I’m about to change it to something much more glittery for New Year’s Eve
4. Any New Years Eve plans?
Not really – Hubby and I may go out for a New Years Eve LUNCH (instead of dinner) since it’s much less crowded. Then we’ll hang at home and eat things like shrimp cocktail, cheese and crackers, crudites, and champagne later. But I still want glittery nails even if I am staying home… LOL
5. What was your favorite nail polish of 2009? No way… I can’t even choose. I only really got into polish this year, so I tried so many new ones that I can’t even begin to pick a fave.
6. Do you have any resolutions for 2010?
Don’t make resolutions at New Year’s specifically. I have been on a quest to be healthier since April, though (lost 34 pounds… yah!!) and I’m sure that will continue. Also, I do want to make a strong effort to expand the freelance part of my writing work.

A Mac, for sure, but like Vampy Varnish here, I have to use a PC at work. We’ll see in about 20 min whether I like the new Windows 7 (new laptop coming)…. but I’m always partial to Macs!!

1. How has your week been treating you so far? It’s looking up — I’m off work for the week, and my grandmother has returned for the rest of her visit. And my body is almost acting like it might like me!
2. If you celebrate Christmas and exchanged gifts, what was your favorite gift that you received? My favorite gift was theChina Glaze Fortune Teller nail polish my brother’s girlfriend hunted down for me. I actually went on a quest to find it at local Sally’s stores when it could no longer be bought online and was unsuccessful. She was so sweet to find me a bottle!
3. What’s on your nails? China Glaze Fortune Teller! Who cares if it’s a halloween polish, it’s gorgeous and it makes me smile.
4. Any New Years Eve plans? We’re staying home, having wine and cheese, and playing Wii.

7. Are you a Mac or a PC? I’m a PC all the way. My oldest computer memories are of ancient, tiny Macs at my elementary school in which I could never quite find the appeal. These early experiences have tainted my computer perception ever since.
8. Do you watch 30 Rock? No. Big Bang Theory is hilarous, though.
9. What personality trait do you have that you like about yourself? I’m intelligent and articulate. It’s so gratifying to turn to some idiot who’s bothering the daylights out of you and spout off a simple, applicable phrase that you know they won’t understand. That look of fear and humiliation is priceless; I only invoke such powers, however, after every last ounce of my tolerance has been tested.
10. What’s your favorite kind of chocolate, milk, dark or white? Honestly, I prefer a combination of dark and milk chocolate. Dark chocolate can be too bitter, and milk chocolate can be too sweet … but melt the two together, and it’s heaven.

1. How has your week been treating you so far? It’s been great! I’m off work until the 7th of january so I’m relaxing, seeing friends and having a good time.
2. If you celebrate Christmas and exchanged gifts, what was your favorite gift that you received? A Konad starter kit my sister gave me.
3. What’s on your nails? OPI All A-Bordeaux The Sled. Closed my eyes and grabbed one from the untrieds.
4. Any New Years Eve plans? Me and my boyfriend’s having dinner with my sister and her boyfriend.

1. How has your week been treating you so far? Pretty good, I’m just so happy to be out of school and I’m excited to move into a new apartment next week.
2. If you celebrate Christmas and exchanged gifts, what was your favorite gift that you received? My family and bf have been having a hard time financially, so I haven’t received anything yet. I’m looking forward to getting a Konad kit and a new digital camera in the next few months as belated Christmas gifts.

4. Any New Years Eve plans? Watching New Years shows on tv, cooking dinner.

6. Do you have any resolutions for 2010? Make myself (especially my health) a priority. I feel like I don’t take good care of myself anymore and I don’t do all the things I used to do before starting college.

1. How has your week been treating you so far?
* Good. I got some great clothes in the sales, the visit to the out-laws went ok and the house is clean. Not bad!
2. If you celebrate Christmas and exchanged gifts, what was your favorite gift that you received?
* I got a gorgeous grey wool cardigan that is cut beautifully and looks amazing.
3. What’s on your nails?
*Models Own Purple Passion. It’s exceptionally good.
4. Any New Years Eve plans?
* I’m late! We went out, and I wished we’d stayed in. But it’s the first time in five years together that we went out.
5. What was your favorite nail polish of 2009?
* Illamasqua Milf. Although really it was finally getting my hands on OPI’s Route Beer Float, although it isn’t from 2009, I finally found it this year.
6. Do you have any resolutions for 2010?
* To get a job I actually like. And to be a good wife (after May!)

*PC. Never used a Mac.
8. Do you watch 30 Rock?
*No. I don’t think we get it here. I did see it on a transatlantic flight once though and liked it.

*I am nice to animals and old people.
