Welcome to another edition of my Top 5 polishes!
Since it’s the holidays I thought I would feature yet another common holiday color, silver.
I didn’t have as hard a time sifting through my silver polishes and finding my top 5 as I thought I would. These ones really stood out to me.
And now in no particular order, my top 5 silver polishes (and remember some of these pics are old and not that great):
Butter London Diamond Geezer
This is the ultimate in foil-y silvery goodness. If I had to choose one favorite, this would be it.
China Glaze Millenium
Millennium is an uber-metallic silver, simply fabulous!
Color Club Worth The Risque
This might not be what you think of when you think silver, but it’s definitely silver and very holographic!
Zoya Trixie
Trixie is another super silvery foil like polish. Fab!
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Spanglemaker
Spanglemaker is a shimmery, silvery color that isn’t all metallic or all foil, which makes it different from these others. Love it!

I had forgotten how AMAZING silver is as a NP. I have some silvers, but none of these actually; so thanks for making me want ALL of these
Ooh, the Color Club one is fantastic! A few days ago I painted my nails OPI’s Sand-erella–I’d forgotten how much I love holo glitters like this!

I LOVE the Butter London and Color Club is too cool not to love!! Worth the Risque reminds me of fun filled nights on Panama City Beach!!!!
China Glaze Millennium for sure… I wore Trixie the other day again and like it a lot too but Millennium made me stare at my hands. Too pretty.
I have a silver from hot topic that is a silver foil, and it is just amazing. I don’t know the name though. Do hot topic polishes even have names? lol

I like the China Glaze polish, I am going to Ulta today, I might have to get that if they have it, so pretty!
I used to love silver polish back in high school. I just found some of my old chrome polishes. I think out of these Trixie is my favorite.
my favorite silver would have to be sexagon, and i don’t even have it! sad times. i love the look of trixie tho, i think i need to get it
worth the risque is tops also.
Trying again – the site just ate my comment. I like Color Club Silver Lining as it’s subtle but goes with everything.
For a glitter, it HAS to be Illamasqua Harsh.

I must get that China Glaze Millenium. I don’t think I have any silver polishes yet, though I do have a couple grey/charcoal colors.

Confession – my fave silver is Revlon. My bottle is so old and abused i cant read the name of it, but it was one of those quick dry chromes from like 10 years ago. Its a near dupe of the china glaze above, only its thick enough not to show ridges and its so shiney its almost like having mirrors on your nails. Wouldnt THAT be cool, mirror nail polish???? Actual see your reflection mirror np? A girl can dream.
I love Worth the Risque, what would be amazing is a holographic duochrome.

My only silver polish at the moment is Millennium, which I bought to replace a Sally Hansen chrome that I bought many moons ago and went all weird. It’s gorgeous and applies a lot better than the Sally Hansen one did. I think I need the Butter London one though!
I keep procrastinating on getting Millenium, I want it bad.
Silver and blue are my favourite nail polish colours, so I adore all of these!! I have Millenium and it’s my #1 silver… for the moment
Trixie looks awesome.
Lippmann Collection’s Stardust is my fav, but the Zoya is making me reconsider.
I just got China Glaze Millennium and it’s now my favourite silver. It applies like a dream. And you can konad with it!
