L.A. Girl Army Green with CND Colour Effects
Yo.
I don’t have a whole helluvalot to post this week because I haven’t been able to swatch for about 2 weeks.
You see there was the whole horrible cold incident for a week (remember boys and girls: always wash your hands and cover your mouth when sneezing or coughing!)
And then there was the whole no sun, pouring rain all weekend incident. Alas, I still cannot take decent pictures indoors even with my new camera. Thinking about cutting a hole in my roof…
So I just have some quickie swatches I did awhile ago that I never posted. At least maybe this will keep you occupied for 20 seconds. 
L.A. Girl Army Green is one of the twelve million polishes gifted to me by the great Alexa. Check it out in all it’s glory.
Army Green
Army Green is a superb weird pea soup green creme. It looks a little too light to me to really be “army green”, but whatever. I like it precisely because it’s freakish looking. It’s probably not the most flattering green on certain skin tones, but on me it really worked. The formula was pretty decent and this was two coats. I have no clue if this is still even available. I believe normally this line can be found only at Urban Outfitters stores.

And just for fun I played around with some of CND’s Effects here. LOVE both, but especially the copper one. Did someone say lit-from-within?

I am still so excited about these CND Effects. I mean really, I have said it before, but the endless possibilities are MIND-BOGGLING! I mean say you have 100 polishes and just 3 different Effects. You could have 400 polishes just like that! Is that right? I am horrible at math so shoot me if I’m wrong.

Wow I love those colour effects. I checked them out the other day on line and I was just so overwhelmed by the coices that I couldn’t make up my mind. I wished wished wished they sold these at Ulta or Beauty Brands though so I could check them out in person.

I know what you mean they are hard to find, even online. It’s my only complaint about them. I had to go in blind buying them and lucked out. I think they are all pretty much awesome though!
I don’t like army green, it looks like pea soup barf to me, but I love it with the color effects.

I can definitely see where people might not like that color, it’s peculiar for sure!
The gold shimmer looks awesome on that green. Have you thought about combining the effects over polish? That would increase your polish possibilities even more.

I have but then I wanted to die, because the vastness of possibilities makes my head hurt, hahaha! I need about 20 more hands and 4 clones of myself to swatch everything I would like to!

That is gorgeous. Thanks for showing a pic with all fingers, not just separated into individual pictures by finger/effect. If I had just seen the two finger swatch with Copper Shimmer and not the whole hand, I would not be kicking myself for not getting it with my last TransDesign order! Just an update to let you know you can actually buy LA Girls at Forever 21, they retail anywhere for $1.50-$3.00 . And sometimes Rite-Aid carries them, well atleast their nail art brushes. Hope this helps others who are trying to track them down!

I love this green! I’m so glad I picked up No More War today, I’m really lemming for more ugly-pretty greens.
I love the color by itself, but I think it looks the best with copper shimmer. Green and copper just look so good together!

With 100 polishes and 3 top coats, assuming that you only wear one polish and one top coat at a time, you’d have 300 combination possibilities, not 400.
You are right its 400. its 300 combinations but 400 if you count the original polish….just sayin
I love that shade of polish. With the CND Effect it looks like BB Couture’s Iced Olive. I only have to have that one bottle. No layering.
