Rupert the Sabertooth

 Rupert the Sabertooth

This here is Rupert. He’s actually a British Sabertooth from The Natural History Museum in London. After checking out all the neat artifacts there, we went into their gift shop. Lo and behold I saw this little fella, and he was so cute! But what do I need a stuffed animal keychain for, I asked myself, so I put him down. Then I looked back. He looked so lonely, and then he told me he had always wanted to go to America. So Rupert became mine. icon smile Rupert the Sabertooth

Ciate Nail Polish Swatches and Review

What’s shakin’ Internet?

I have FINALLY gotten around to swatching some nail polishes I got in a swap from my friend Helen from Helen and Sheenie’s Nice Things in England. She sent these SOOOO long ago, I feel terrible! Oh and I must say she’s new to Twitter also, so if you have a Twitter account, check her out at @HelenNiceThings.

The polishes I have today are from a brand called Ciate from the UK. I have had my eye on these honeys for an eternity, mainly because of the adorable bottles!

You cannot tell me that’s not ridiculously cute!

The formula on these isn’t the best on earth, but certainly not the worst. It is a little thick and sticky, but I didn’t have to do any special tricks to get it applied nicely. They were all opaque in either one or two coats also, which is nice!

Nubar Chocolate Truffles Collection Swatches and Review

Happy hump day!

Who doesn’t like chocolate? I don’t know of anyone! Nubar has a fabulous new collection of six colors called Chocolate Truffles. The name alone makes my mouth water, and the colors only add to my craving!

Nubar is rapidly becoming one of my top 5 favorite polish brands. Their formula is just totally spot on. You have probably heard me rave on and on about their Foundation base coat and Diamont top coat. Don’t worry, I plan on doing a separate post on those products shortly.

Considering they are big three free and vegan/cruelty free, that just makes them even better. My only complaint with Nubar is that I wish their polishes were available in stores rather than online only. Maybe that will change soon though! Peep these out and just TRY not to eat a chocolate bar afterwards!
