A Dog and His Bone

Chase with bone A Dog and His Bone

Chase loves this damn bone. It’s not really even a bone, it’s a scrap of rawhide. He takes literally like a year to eat these types of things, but he loves carrying it from place to place. He’ll bring it outside, back inside, put it on our bed, leave it in the hallway so in the middle of the night we step on it and cut ourselves. You know, typical dog stuff.

Can You Guess What This Is?

Can You Guess What This Is?

Any takers? This is actually Chewbacca’s #1 favorite toy. Before him it was Sam’s favorite toy. This is a toy stuffed mouse, believe it or not. I got this about 5 or 6 years ago for Sammy. It was pretty much the only mouse he would play with though he had about 10 others. Then when Chewy came along, he loved it and would only play with it also. They have since completely decimated it. We have sewn it up to try and keep what’s left of the stuffing inside. Chewy carries this around in his mouth, and meows this low, deep meow like it’s real. So cute.

China Glaze Wizard of Ooh Ahz Collection Swatches and Review

Good morning friends!

Today I’ve got the much anticipated re-release of China Glaze’s Wizard of Ooh Ahz collection! I never had the first collection, which was released in 2001, so these are all new to me (except Ruby Pumps), and I REALLY like them.

Let me know what you think!

The Ten Man

The Ten Man is a frosty silver with silver micro glitter. This one seems perfect for the holidays, it reminds me of Christmas ornaments! This was three coats.

Keep Calm And Carry On

 Keep Calm And Carry On

This is my miniature Keep Calm And Carry On poster thats near my desk at home. In case you don’t know what this is, I’ll tell you.

In 1939 the British Government’s Ministry of Information wanted a way to keep their people assured that King George VI was capable of protecting the country against the imminent war with Germany, so they came up with these propaganda posters, and displayed them all over.

I also got a full sized poster of this (in metallic gold) because I just love it. You can find these and other cool things at their website here.

Weeds, Friend or Foe?

 Weeds, Friend or Foe?

These weeds are everywhere in my backyard this time of year. When you look at them in a bunch like this, they are kinda pretty. They almost look like four leaf clovers. But really, they are pesky weeds that must be stopped!
