Nubar Chocolate Truffles Collection Swatches and Review
Happy hump day!
Who doesn’t like chocolate? I don’t know of anyone! Nubar has a fabulous new collection of six colors called Chocolate Truffles. The name alone makes my mouth water, and the colors only add to my craving!
Nubar is rapidly becoming one of my top 5 favorite polish brands. Their formula is just totally spot on. You have probably heard me rave on and on about their Foundation base coat and Diamont top coat. Don’t worry, I plan on doing a separate post on those products shortly.
Considering they are big three free and vegan/cruelty free, that just makes them even better. My only complaint with Nubar is that I wish their polishes were available in stores rather than online only. Maybe that will change soon though! Peep these out and just TRY not to eat a chocolate bar afterwards!
Milk Chocolate Creme
Milk Chocolate Creme is a warm milk chocolate brown creme! Gee that was hard to describe 
I love it on me. I love it so much I want to eat it in fact. This was three coats.
Chocolate Coffee Bean
Chocolate Coffee Bean is a medium milk chocolate brown with subdued purple/pink glass shimmer. This one is really gorgeous, especially in the sun. This was two coats.
Cherry Cordial
Cherry Cordial is a light brown duochrome with a red/pink shimmer. Now personally I cannot stand chocolate and cherries together, but I like this polish! This was two coats.
Raspberry Truffle
Raspberry Truffle is a dark brown with tons of red/purple shimmer. This is my favorite one of the collection. This was two coats.
Swiss Chocolate
Swiss Chocolate is a medium brown creme. This has more of a pink or purple hue to it than Milk Chocolate Creme does. This was two coats.
Chocolate Caramel
Chocolate Caramel is a medium brown packed with gold shimmer. This is a really unique, pretty color and my second favorite. This was two coats.
Overall I love and will wear every single one of these colors. That doesn’t happen often in a collection!

I hadn’t found an entire collection that I wanted but THIS is the one. I really would like the whole set. These are very nice chocolate colors. Yummmmers.

I first discovered Nubar with the amazing amazing Going Green collection, of which I own every single shade, but I’ve been buying a lot of their polishes since then. (I have Hieroglyphs Purple on even as I write.) I just love their colors and their quality. I’m definitely getting all of these brown shades — I’m amazed that they could come up with so many shades of this color and have them be different enough to get them all.
I really love these “suites” they’re doing of all one color, and I’m sending out vibes for a collection of yellows for spring or summer!
What a beautiful collection! I’ll probably get 4 of the 6 — the cremes are nice, but not special.

First I need to answer your question at the beginning of the post; a girl at my old job didn’t like chocolate, it was SO annoying whenever we wanted to get a cake or cookies for someone’s birthday, but I digress. These colors are all amazing and I need chocolate right now! I think that the Swiss Chocolate is my favorite, I”ve never seen anything like it.

I was wondering when you would do these. I purchased mine the day Nubar released them. My Chocolate Coffee Bean & Raspberry Truffle are EXACTLY the same. One is not darker than the other, no red, and looks nothing like yours.(boo) Oh well, those two do remind me a lil of MAC’s SEADIP.

To be honest, mine were extremely similar also. I can tell the difference by looking at the bottles more than I can tell on the nail. It’s really subtle. Thanks!

I also bought these the day they came out, and I LOVE them. I also think it’s weird that Coffee Bean and Raspberry Truffle were the same; mine are clearly different too! I love each shade, but Raspberry Truffle and Chocolate Caramel are just beyond delicious! YUMMY!!!!!
All of these colours look edible! I think I’m going to need the entire collection.They all look gorgeous on you

I do love the whole collection, especially the Raspberry truffle.
I agree with Christi, your cuticles look great. What is your trick? If I could do my cuticles myself and make them look good like yours, I would never have to pay for a manicure.
Ah, I love these…. I’ve already decided that my Christmas present to myself will be this entire collection in addition to the Going Green collection! I can’t wait to get them.
