Diamond Cosmetics Holiday 2009 Collection Swatches and Review
Hey there folks,
I’ve been showing a lot of nail polishes lately by Diamond Cosmetics, and today I’ve got more! It’s their new holiday 2009 collection featuring four new colors.
These are all beautiful glittery, sparkly colors and not totally obvious “holiday” colors either (well ok maybe one or two are).
The formula on these is really great (three-free!), and they cover very nicely. Enjoy!
Diamond’s Diamonds
Diamond’s Diamonds is a silvery white base with silver micro glitter. This one would look especially awesome over a dark ruby red or jet black. This was three coats.
Amethyst & Diamonds
Amethyst & Diamonds is a grape purple with micro holographic glitter pieces. This is very unexpected in a holiday collection and it’s really pretty. This was two coats.
Blue Diamonds
Blue Diamonds is a vivid blue base with micro holographic glitter pieces. This color fits in perfectly with a holiday collection because the blue reminds me of the cold. This was my fav and was two coats.
Rubies & Diamonds
Rubies & Diamonds is a pretty cherry red base with red and gold micro glitter. You can’t see the gold that much in this pic, but it’s definitely there. This was two coats.
Overall I am really pleased with this collection, and am glad it wasn’t the standard silver, gold, red and green we have seen a lot of lately. Not that I don’t like those, but I like a purple and blue thrown in every once in awhile also!

These are so gorgeous! I am definitely placing an order for a couple of these in addition to the cherry tobacco and crushed velvet.

I just ordered these over the weekend, without seeing any swatches. So glad these turned out to be so pretty!!!
Nice swatches! Does the red one have a slight jelly quality to it? I love how bright it is.
The Rubies & Diamonds is really a lovely shade. Darn I love shimmers and glitters. These are all pretty without being over the top.
At $2.50 they are a steal!
