CND Electric Purple with Colour Effects

Hi!

Remember a couple months ago when I swatched all those CND colors with their new Colour Effects? Well now I have another new one for ya!

This one is a stunner all on it’s own, check it out!

CND Electric Purple
Electric Purple

Electric Purple is a medium purple creme that has a lot of pink in it. It’s so creamy and fabulous to apply. Also totally opaque in two coats.

Here you can see the Violet Shimmer Effects is violet and blue, very pretty!

Raspberry Sparkle Effects is a pink/purple glittery finish.

CND Electric Purple with Gold Shimmer Effect

Gold Shimmer Effects is a fairly opaque cool gold shimmer with small green and red particles. I accidentally put way too much on, so normally it’s not quite this opaque. I love it though, very unique looking.

CND Electric Purple with Crimson Sparkle Effect

Crimson Sparkle Effects is a nice red glittery one. This picture doesn’t translate to how great it is in person, it’s a wee bit blurry here.

CND Electric Purple with Copper Shimmer Effect

Copper Shimmer Effects is an amazing copper and red shimmery color. This was my favorite one. I did a full mani with this right after I swatched it because it was so pretty!

Stay tuned for more CND Colour Effects coming soon. And if you missed them last time, catch up with the links listed below under Related posts.

hey, what happened to “good morning” in some exotic language? ;-)
so… BOKER TOV to you (in hebrew). I love this purple on it’s own, but it looks amazing with most of the effects. I agree with you that the copper shimmer is the best of them :-)

This is one of my favorite types of purples. I just love that shade! I love the idea of being able to change a colour so easily! Next time I am at the beauty supply store I think that I will be picking one of these up!

Thanks for doing these! I love seeing the versatility of the CND Effects. Next time, can you do a picture of all the nails together(like you did for the polish and the other posts)? It helps me picture the actual looks better. Again, thanks for showing us how to play with the Effects!

Yeah, I agree that the purple looks very similar and creamy like OPI Can You Dig It. Very nice colour and interesting subtle effects that really give the polish different personalities. Thanks for the gorgeous swatches!

    Hi Kelly:

Electric Purple alone is a gorgeous color in itself but I wonder how it compares to “Sephora bu OPI,” Don’t Go there.” The muted purple/lavender shade in comparison. It’s one of my favs and I wear it most of the time when I want a purple color. I do love the CND Effects of gold, copper and shimmer though. You really know how to wear this color as your nails are so beautiful today.

Would this be a great shade for Thanksgiving Day dinner with a purple dress, and matching shoes? Just a thought. Otherwise, what colors (nail polish) would be appropriate for a nice young lady wear for Happy Turkey Day?

      Hi McHuggs,

It is similar to Sephora by OPI Don’t Go There, but that one has a lot more pink in it.

I plan on wearing a shimmery brown tomorrow :)
