China Glaze Wizard of Ooh Ahz Collection Swatches and Review
Good morning friends!
Today I’ve got the much anticipated re-release of China Glaze’s Wizard of Ooh Ahz collection! I never had the first collection, which was released in 2001, so these are all new to me (except Ruby Pumps), and I REALLY like them.

The Ten Man
The Ten Man is a frosty silver with silver micro glitter. This one seems perfect for the holidays, it reminds me of Christmas ornaments! This was three coats.

Cowardly Lyin’
Cowardly Lyin’ is a frosty warm gold with gold micro glitter. This is another one that is very holiday appropriate to me, though this isn’t a holiday collection. This was three coats.

Good Witch?
Good Witch? is a cool pink frost with pink micro glitter. I just watched The Wizard of Oz on Friday night and can tell you this pink is exactly the color of Glinda’s dress. Love it! This was three coats.

Dorothy Who?
Dorothy Who? is a medium blue packed with blue and silver micro glitter. Super sparkly and pretty. This was three coats.

C-C-Courage
C-C-Courage is a grape purple with purple micro glitter. This is my favorite one and was the most opaque. I only needed two coats.

Ruby Pumps
Ruby Pumps is a bright cool toned red packed with red glitter. This was three coats.

I am super happy that they re-released this collection since I missed the original one. I really love all these colors, and find they are all super wearable.
I don’t know if these are out yet at e-tailers, but they should be soon.
What do you guys think, will you be picking up any of these?

My first experince of China Glaze is with Ruby Pumps and I was amazed at how well it stayed on, it lasted for two weeks which included several cleaning sessions and even some gardening and I had no chips at all. I love the purple, so I think that will be my next purchase!

Just thought of something… is the Ruby Pumps in this set the same as the one in the Loves You Snow Much set?
Oh yeah absolutely – I’m gonna be getting Dorothy Who! I saw it swatched online once before and was sooo disappointed that it was a discontinued colour, so it’s awesome that I’m finally gonna be able to grab a bottle!
They look really nice, but don’t think its something I just must have.. Can think of some other CG I’d rather own
My nail polish expenditures have been cramping my budget quite a bit, so I really can’t afford to pick up polishes more than $3 a bottle these days. However, I am in love with all of the colors you swatched. (By the way, I watched The Wizard of Oz LAST NIGHT and can agree that Glinda’s dress was EXACTLY this color!!)

Wow, I have so much been looking forward to seeing these, and I figured I would want them all. But a couple of them look like they are not opaque enough to suit me, even with three coats. I already have Ruby Pumps (stunning gorgeous!), so I think I’m only going to need Dorothy Who and C-c-courage.
Where can we get these? I love them, specially the blue and purple one.

I hate to say it but…I’m not really wowed by any of these. Good Witch? is kind of nice, but I feel like I could pass on the others. None of them strike me as particularly unique…

I’ve been getting really into glitter polishes lately, so this collection is just perfect for me! I love C-C-Courage and Dorothy who? I have been noticing that many glitter polishes have a kind of rough feel, especially the cheap ones. How do these shape up?

Nah, I’m one of few (?) who isn’t all that crazy raving about these. I’m not that fond of frost… I’ll be getting DW fo’ sho’, but the others can find better homes.
Is it fair to say that DW is Blue Sparrows jelly cousin?

I’m not sure if I’ll be buying them or not. The Tin Man I won’t and also Cowardly Lyin. I wish that China Glaze would have bought out a green the color of the witch’s face. A different green than Emerald Sparkly really would’ve been nice.
