China Glaze Loves You Snow Much Holiday 2009 Swatches and Review

Good morning ya’ll.

Today I’ve got China Glaze’s Loves You Snow Much collection for holiday 2009. These are all colors we saw last year with the exception of 5 Golden Rings.

I apologize in advance for the suck-tacular quality of these photos. The sunlight in my backyard this time of year is totally pathetic. We get slivers of sun here and there, and in-between every photo (which is usually only 2-5 minutes) the sun moves, so I have to chase down a new spot in the yard to take a photo in. It’s ridiculous, I need good indoor lighting desperately!

The other issue is that I only used two coats because I was pressed for time, so the colors aren’t as vibrant and saturated as they normally would be with three coats. Bear with me and check them out!

Tinsel

Tinsel is a silver glitter that’s slightly sheer if you don’t pack on the coats.

5 Golden Rings is the new color of this collection. It’s a cool gold glitter. I love cool gold’s, so I am liking this a lot!

Overall I love this collection, it’s definitely a great one to own, if you don’t have it already from last year. And if you do, then go and get 5 Golden Rings, it’s worth it, and I think would look really nice over a solid black polish.

You can find these in stores and online now.

I’m so happy I found out we have a Sallys here where I live in Canada. I got the red and green color from this collection but I want the gold sorta. Thanks for the swatches.

  • Your photos do not suck! I’ve started taking mine under the light in our cooker extractor fan – ha! It seems to do the job better anyway.
I already have ES and RP but am totally obsessed with gold at the moment – polish, Illamasqua liquid metal etc so I really need that one. *flexes credit card*

I have Ruby Pumps and Emerald Sparkle and they are beautiful. The other two I will skip since I have all of the China Glaze glitters that came out recently.

I already have Ruby Pumps but went out and bought the Emerald Sparkle last night. So gorgeous! I cannot wait to wear it. I love wearing green polish when I have like a lot of dark greys on. It just looks gorgeous with it!

Whoa. Nice swatches (even if you have to chase the sun)!
What is the deal with Ruby Pumps? Swatches I’ve seen online don’t look like mine. I bought mine a year ago. It’s just not as bright jelly red. :(
