Haaaaaaaaayyyyy party people!

I feel the need to tell you that I am really not as chipper as I sound in the morning. In fact, I am SOOOO not a morning person, though I get up at 5:10 am for work every day. I am much more chipper when I write, than in person

Today I’ve got Zoya’s new Ultra Glitter collection. These are SUPER glittery and blingtastic! BUT not as blingtastic as they would have been if the sun had been out when I took the pics, sorry!

The formula on these is on the thick side because they are so jam packed with glitter. When applying wait a few minutes in-between coats otherwise the polish tends to glob on the tip of the nail. They do have that “chunky” texture that a lot of glitters have also, but that mostly goes away after a nice top coat. Peep ‘em out!

Luna

Luna is a pale dusty grey-ish polish with silver glitter. This one is my favorite, I love it. It totally says “winter” and “snow” to me, even though I never, ever see snow in real life. This was three coats.

Good morning!

Today I have two colors by MAC from their holiday collection called Magic, Mirth, and Mischief. One is a re-release and one is brand spankin’ new.

These are both metallics, and the formula is pretty streaky. They can be totally opaque in just one coat though and they dry super fast. When applying, be careful to only wipe once down the nail for the middle and each side, and use a thin coat.

FYI these pics were taken on a cloudy day so they aren’t the greatest. Take a peek.

$$$$$ Yes

$$$$$ Yes is a silver metallic. Honestly nothing that exciting here, I feel as though we all have a silver like this by now, though it’s still nice. This is the one that’s a re-release.

Evening folks!

I need your help in deciding which color combo I should wear for Halloween on my nails. I am gong as a Gothic vampire. My costume is a medium red velvet dress with attached hood. My hair will be black and straight, and my makeup will be mostly black/white/red. I came up with a few different black/red mani combos to choose from. Let me know what you think!

I included pics in the poll (when you click on detail you can see them) but since they look small and slightly distorted, I also included them in this post.

By now you know of my interest in Day of the Dead dolls. These were done by the same artist as the last ones I posted. They were also bought in San Antonio when I went last year. Love them!

The other day I let my cats out in the yard, and was trying to find one of them to bring back inside. I just knew he wandered off into this back corner of my yard, and there are some seriously creepy spiders back there this time of year. Luckily I was keeping a sharp eye out because THIS had made a web across the whole path! The body of this monster was dime sized. I wanted to SHRIEK when I saw it, but instead ran to get my camera. YUCK!!!
