Dior Silver Purple Le Vernis for Holiday 2009 Swatches and Review

Dior has a new color out called Silver Purple, which is part of their Holiday 2009 collection.
This one is a stunner ladies & gents, so be prepared to be bowled over!
The formula is simply, fantastic. Totally creamy, and easy to apply. And to top it off it was opaque in just two coats. Read on!
Silver Purple
Silver Purple is a gorgeous muted purple/silver shimmer. What I love about this color is that it’s kind of hard to identify exactly what it is. In some lighting it looks more purple, and in others it looks like a muted grey/purple. The shimmer is pink, green, and blue, and it’s very unique. This was two coats
This color is currently on Sephora’s website (and don’t forget about the Friends & Family 20% off discount they are having now through Nov 2nd, code FF2009) and it retails for $20.00. Yes I know, it’s expensive, and it’s a small bottle, but it is Dior, and that’s never going to be “cheap”!

I have this, and L-O-V-E it!
To me, $20 is not a lot. A piece of clothing is more than that, and you will have the lacquer a lot longer. I use to think it was a lot, but not anymore.

I can see both sides. I feel the same way though, that a polish is like an accessory, and really unless you wear it every single day, it’s gonna last a long time. Unforch for me, I barely can wear anything once I have so many.
that’s beautiful on you! i’ve been seeing a lot of muted/grayed purple cremes, but not many colors like that with shimmer… this one’s really nice!

The color is so gorgeous I just had to have it. So, I just placed an order for this nail varnish and yes it is a stunner. I ordered it through amazon.com. (in fact if you go through http://WWW.NOW.org and use their amazon shop no matter what you purchase, a portion of the proceeds of the nail polish (or anything your buy through amazon goes) to the “National Organization for Woman” (NOW.org.) I loved the lemon balm by Dior. Yes, $20 is expensive for a nail color but Dior shades are so worth it and as a nail polish fanatic oh well, what can I say, your nails are so gorgeous and beautiful you should be a spoke (hand) model for their polishes and sold me as soon as I saw it. LOL Have a great weekend.
