CND Effects Swatches and Review

Good morning! It’s officially Halloween month yahooooooo!

Per a couple people’s requests after my CND Colour Effects series last week, I have swatched all the effects I have by themselves over my bare nail so you can see how they look on their own. Some you will be able to really see and unfortunately some are so sheer that you can’t tell much of a difference between them. But as you can tell from my swatches last week, they are definitely all different when put  over a color. These are all just one coat, using more than one coat didn’t make much of a difference. Check them out!

CND Ice Blue Shimmer CND Effects Swatches and Review
Ice Blue Shimmer

Ice Blue Shimmer is one of the ones you can see really well over a bare nail. It’s an opalescent pale blue shimmer.

CND Sapphire Sparkle CND Effects Swatches and Review
Sapphire Sparkle

Sapphire Sparkle is really hard to see from this pic. You can barely see the blue, but it’s there!

CND Jade Sparkle CND Effects Swatches and Review
Jade Sparkle

Jade Sparkle seemed to be the fan fav over the CND polish I used last week. I agree, it’s my favorite one out of all these. You can definitely see it, it’s more opaque than all the rest and very sparkly!

CND Amethyst Sparkle CND Effects Swatches and Review
Amethyst Sparkle

Amethyst Sparkle is the other one that’s very hard to see here. If you look towards the tip of my nail you can see the amethyst color though.

CND Emerald Shimmer CND Effects Swatches and Review
Emerald Shimmer

Emerald Shimmer is a subtle emerald green with some yellow in it.

I hope this helps you guys somewhat, sorry if some of them are hard to see but they were not cooperating!

I do plan on getting more of these soon so you’ll see more posts with more color variations coming up.

I see the Halloween polishes are out at Walgreens. I thought if you. I see they have a glow in the dark one too that looks fun!

Thx for posting these. Its quite interesting how sheer they are, given what an impact they have when layered. I agree, my fav’s the Jade one too, that one is going on my lemming list since I’m a sucker for greens, but I’m a bit on the fence whether I really need any of the others.
