I don’t know why, but I have always been fascinated with cemeteries. Maybe it’s because I am into macabre and morbid things out of curiosity. This was taken at a local cemetery recently. I just think the stone work is beautiful.

You HAVE to get to Paris and visit (among other things) the Pere La Chaise cemetary. Oscar Wilde, Edith Piaf and Jim Morrison are all there.

I would LOVE to go there. I wanted to go to the fabulous ones in New Orleans when I was there about 6 or 7 years ago, but they were closed!!!

i love cemeteries they’re so peaceful
i love going to one for a walk when my emotions are haywire
i love the tombstones and mausoleums so gorgeous

It’s beautiful! I’m into cemeteries too, maybe because I grew up near to one from 16th century…
